I wish Bella could enjoy her time visiting Charlie instead of doing chores all the time. He did get along okay for a long time before she moved back with him, after all. I love how Edward brought her back to his place to sleep...sounds like she needs some rest. And Edward has to explain the vampire thing soon, or perhaps Bella will put two and two together?

Ahh, Mike Newton. I wonder if Bella did date him in high school. I'm also interested in what changed Edward's opinion and mindframe...he seems to have accepted that Bella will be a vampire fairly easily.

It seems as though Edward made quite an impression on Bella that one day in Bio two years ago. She clearly hasn't forgotten him, and he's slowly working his way into her thoughts again, lol!

I like how you've made Edward more optimistic. I'm writing a story at the moment in which, like yours, he knows Bella is meant for him, but he's being all angsty and stubborn. It is refreshing to have him just be accepting for once.

i like this take on twilight you have.. her mentioning the whole legend thing so early was a bit of a stretch for me though.
Author's Response: Sorry, it wasn't planned-just kind of happened. I originally planned for Bella to take the trip alone but Edward showed up unannounced. With Bella still thinking about her dream, the subject just came up. And, the whole "intimacy" thing can't happen until Bella knows the truth about Edward. Trust me. :)
