Welcome to Twilighted! This is the first Twilight fan fiction site that welcomes all ships, all ratings, and all categories (AU, Crossover, etc.) of Twilight fanfiction, as long as it is well written.

Twilighted is staffed with highly educated Beta Readers who will read and approve those submissions that meet our standards for quality writing. Just because Edward is human doesn't mean it can't be a great story.

Twilighted Junior Validation Beta Positions Available

In order to find some additional qualified betas to help us validate stories submitted to Twilighted, we have developed a "Beta Test." If you are interested in becoming a VOLUNTEER Twilighted Junior Validation Beta, please complete the form located on the forum in the BETAS/CRITIQUE PARTNERS section here.

Applicants must be:
1. 22 years or older
2. An accomplished writer with near error free submissions to Twilighted
3. A member in good standing on the Twilighted forum
4. Able to commit at least 4-6 hours per week to beta work

Twilighted iFic

Twilighted is taking your favorite, high-quality Twilight fanfiction to a whole new level--your iPod earbuds, to be exact.

That's right--you can now listen to some of the best Twilight fics available while you're driving, working, exercising, etc.

We are currently holding auditions for voice talent. Specifically, we are looking for tech-savvy individuals that are skilled "readers" to actually read aloud and record selected works. No previous experience with voice acting is required, and we encourage all interested persons to audition! MEN ARE ESPECIALLY ENCOURAGED TO AUDITION--we need someone to read the EPOVs!

If you want to audition to be an iFic reader, please follow the instructions below:

1. Obtain Audacity®, free audio editing and recording software. You can download it here.

2. Use Audacity® to record a designated selection from Twilight (beginning on page 170 with "He pushed the bread basket toward me..." and ending on page 174 with "Let's not try for three, agreed?"). Male readers should use Midnight Sun beginning on page 3 ("It had been two weeks since our last hunting trip") to page 6 ("But I couldn't hear a whisper") in place of Twilight pages 170-174. Please include a spoken disclaimer noting that Twilight is the property of Stephenie Meyer.

3. Send your recording (in 128Kbps MP3 format) and a short written passage describing yourself to twilightedific@gmail.com. We're most interested in knowing:

Your age (must be 18 to apply)
A bit about your vocational/academic pursuits and hobbies
Your favorite Twilight fanfics and/or fanfiction authors
Approximately how much time per month you would be willing to devote to the podcast

The selection of additional fics will be done by psymom and Team iFic based on site statistics. If you have any questions or suggestions, please send an e-mail to twilightedific@gmail.com or simply leave a comment on the iFic forum thread.

Twilighted Original Fiction Contest:
Cheeky Chicks and Bothersome Beasts

Twilighted is hosting its fifth ORIGINAL FICTION writing contest! In cooperation with acclaimed author Rosemary Clement-Moore (www.RosemaryClementMoore.com), author of the Maggie Quinn series, Prom Dates from Hell, Hell Week, and Highway to Hell, as well as her newest release, The Splendor Falls. Twilighted is issuing a CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:

Rosemary Clement-Moore writes Young Adult Paranormal Fiction that boasts strong, smart female characters that can’t seem to escape the attention of demons, ghosts, and especially the cutest guy in town. Rosemary’s new book, The Splendor Falls, is a wonderful tale of a young girl whose dreams are shattered, but who finds new hope when she discovers the mysteries of the world she lives in. In honor of her new book, Rosemary has agreed to do an interview with psymom, participate in a Q&A on the Twilighted Forum, and judge a writing contest based on the theme, “Cheeky Chicks and Bothersome Beasts.” The winner of the writing contest, which Rosemary will select from the top five finalists, will be announced Sunday, January 31. Finalists will be determined by Twilighted’s Senior Betas, jakeward, oceanwaters2006, and SassyGeminiMom from the anonymous submissions.

Congratulations to Angel4ever and oceanwaters2006 for winning the Twilighted Original Fiction Contest: Sexy, Suspenseful Superheroes. Catherine Spangler was so impressed with both of their stories, she couldn't choose between them so it was a tie! Be sure to read and review Angel4ever's story, Perfect Timing and oceanwaters2006's story The Protector.

Twilighted Is Growing

In an effort to live up to our motto of being “all-inclusive,” Twilighted’s Edward has created a NEW SECOND FORUM designed just for Twilighted’s teen fans:

An exclusive place for teen fans of Twilight Fan fiction

While Twilighted was built on a firm foundation of no censorship, this was intended to apply to adult members. We know that this is a young adult series though, and that alone may attract teens to this site. You may have noticed that we now require registration on the archive in order to read stories with adult content (R, NC-17).

While anyone is free to read stories rated PG-13 and below (as those do not require registration), our terms of service state that you must be 18 (or of the legal age of consent in your country of residence) to register, in an effort to restrict R and NC-17 stories to adults only.

Twilighted Forums, on the other hand, are completely restricted to adults by our terms of service, which provide that you must be 18 (or of the legal age of consent in your country of residence) to register as well, and you cannot read or post on the forums unless you register, confirming that you are of age. Having an adult only environment allows the lack of censorship that many members enjoy.

Twilighted Teens Forum will be run slightly differently though. Rule number one is, and will always be, “BE NICE!” but there are some additional rules as well. Language sensor software is used which is designed to keep the language on the site clean. Our rules of usage for the Teens Forum do not allow mature content – story discussions will be limited to G, PG, and PG-13 stories, no mature photographs or videos are permitted to be posted, and as always, no fic can be posted on the forums. This is meant to be a place for teen fans of Twilighted and Twilight Fan Fiction in general to go and talk about what they love while avoiding exposure to material intended for mature readers. We encourage all teen users to notify the site administrators of any rule violations so they can be promptly addressed.

And an aside to parents: while we have taken these steps in an attempt to limit underage access to adult content on the site, no action we take can be as effective as parental monitoring of their child’s Internet usage. Parental supervision is, and will always be, the best method of preventing exposure to material deemed inappropriate by YOU.
