Author's Response: I'm so glad you're loving the story! If you just finished Chapter 1, then I need to warn you that there is angst ahead (it wouldn't be an Edward and Bella story if there weren't), but it DOES get better... I can't take too much angst, so I've tried to keep it to only the amount that I think will get the idea of the story across.

Author's Response: I'm glad you're enjoying it so far. Stick around, I promise it will be a fun ride! There is angst ahead (but it wouldn't be a Bella and Edward story if it didn't have angst), but I try to keep it to a minimum (only what the story needs to progress through the plot).

You go concert girl. I love the tension between B & E. Your description of the trip just sounded like a whirlwind of fun.
Author's Response: I really mean it that I wished I could have attended THAT concert!!! I am going to see Blue October this weekend with A Little Distracted (author of Naughty Secrets), it should be a great time - they are a favorite band of mine.

I can't remember if I reviewed this chapter already on FF, so here goes. Loved the tension between Bella and Edward. Personally I love Closer. It's one of my favorite songs. But, I can see how it could be embarrassing to really get into that song when you are with a guy you like who you are just getting to know. Another great chapter,

OMG that was so much fun!! The concert was great and it was good to see those two girls go out and do something fun. It was brilliantly written and I can't wait for more!
Good luck on the trip! I live in Laramie, WY which is only two hours away from Denver, so pack a jacket just in case it stays cold here... =)
Author's Response: I had a blast doing the research for the concert (I would LOVE to have been there). My best friend and I have a blast going to concerts (we've seen John Mayer and Muse so far this year, and this weekend we're going to see Blue October), so I put some of us into the experience for Bella and Angela.
As for Denver, the weather was beautiful when we got here yesterday, but now it is cold and raining (freezing!), and supposed to snow tonight!!! I had to dig my parka out of storage for the trip because it's in the upper 80's at home! There go my plans to see a Rockies game while I'm here...

So I'm 3 chapters in and you're doing a really great job of walking the line so that Edward isn't creepy as a grown man with the little girl. I was a bit worried about that when I first came across this story, but decided to give it a shot and I'm really glad now!

I definitely wanted to avoid the creepy factor - just wanted Edward to not be so lonely and to find someone who loved him purely and unconditionally (and that works both ways)... and to experience some of the fun of his human childhood that he no longer has memories of. Author's Response: I can't begin to tell you how happy it makes me that you're enthralled by MIF! All the research I did for the concert (and the Portland area in general) almost made me feel like I should have a ticket stub tucked into my mirror frame...

I'm glad I've kept reading that chapter was so sad. I like that you didn't dwell too much on her time as a child, but you gave us enough that we could see the development between the two.
