Summary: 
Alyssa Brooks is enjoying a night by the lake with her boyfriend when they are attacked. She wakes up to find that she has been changed into a vampire. This story coincides with the newborn attack on the Cullen family in Eclipse - and will go beyond that time.
She meets the Volturi - and Demetri. And she falls hard for him. Visit Italy with her and learn more about the Volturi!!

I must also give credit to SM for a great deal of the dialogue in this chapter. It is directly from the book, to stay true to canon.

This chapter contains a lot of the actual dialogue from Breaking Dawn. It was much harder to craft around SM's words than I thought it would be. Sorry it took so long... Between working with her words and my real life, this chapter took much longer than I thought it would.
There are two more 'battle scene' chapters in the book, but I'm going to try to combine them into one for my story. We'll see what happens.
I hope I have done this justice, from the Volturi side. I also hope that I've given enough foreshadowing. Hmmm. I guess we'll see.
As usual, the characters belong to SM. But, Demetri is mine (at least I've based him on my sweet hubby).

The dialogue in this chapter is mostly SM's from Chapter 37 of Breaking Dawn. My words flow around her words - and I am grateful to her for writing them. As always - these are her characters, for the most part. I play with them and manipulate them, and I enjoy it!! lol
