Summary:

Junior Raymond Kulp, star pitcher of the Forks High baseball team, finds himself drawn to the new student much like everybody else. But since he has himself a girlfriend, he discreetly observes the Police Chief's daughter from afar. It is during this first year that he notices the developing relationship between Bella Swan and the mysterious Edward Cullen - and how this isn't the normal run of the mill relationship.

Come join Ray as he witnesses events throughout his junior and senior year that strike him as extraordinary, while he observes Bella Swan and the entire Cullen family.

Story Notes:

I've always been fascinated with the idea of how an observant human might respond to the mysterious Cullen family, and most especially the growing relationship between Bella and Edward. Although I don't think they could come to any conclusion per say, but they couldn't help but recognize something very different about them. Not to mention the strange powerful relationship that Bella and Edward developed.

I believe this tale is canon, and I ask you to suspend your thoughts regarding this specifically until the very end. As much as you might be able to argue that this or that wouldn't have happened, I believe I can argue that it could have, while staying within the boundaries of SM's universe.

Only for the occasional use of profanity, and a few references on sexuality, would I rate this PG13.

For the readers that have found this tale intriguing, I appreciate your open mind. I'd like to believe that under these circumstances that there would be a trust factor, much like the trust the Cullens showed in Bella herself in the early goings.

The Epilogue will only work if you can buy off on the idea, so I trust you find it entertaining.
