I'm shocked that this doesn't have more reviews! I absolutely loved this. I love that your characters are true to, well, their characters. This was a gorgeous lemon and it made me very happy. Now, if you'll allow me, I believe I'll print this out and put it in that infuriating "the next day..." spot in my book. Yay!

That's the Edward I love --so tender, loving, chivalous, selfless, and sweet! His loving is so precious; Bella deserved to be loved so tenderly in reward for accepting Edward and his vampire nature --at the risk of her very life! Edward knew this and was so utterly grateful in return! This moment was beautifully done; I could hear Edward's respectful upbringing from another era in his every conversation and every touch with Bella! Edward Masen, Sr and Elzabeth Masen would have been so proud of Edward and they would have adored Bella in 1918 if Bella and Edward had met back then!

Nice explanation of what happens between Bella and Edward from their midnight swim to the following morning with all the bruises. Stephanie left a hugh gap in her story. Glad you filled in the blanks so wonderfully.

I love this interpretation. I've read several wedding night stories and yours comes the closest to what I imagined. Both Bella and Edward are very much in character. I love how romantic it was, which is exactly how I think their first time would be. Great job! Keep writing!

Not Bad! Actually one of the best of these I have read...very SM, incharacter, and believable. You don't see that all the time....you should do the scene in the Cottage as a second to this one

One word: AMAZING! This is exactly how I imagined the Honeymoon scene to be like. Its not awkward like a lot of other stories, and you incorporated all of the right aspects, such as Edward's self control. Loooove it!

I always enjoy reading authors' renditions of the missing wedding night scene. You did a wonderful job of, as you said, staying true to Stephenie's style. There was a sweetness and innocence throughout that was beautiful. I also loved the little bit where Edward kneels at Bella's feet, but then realizes what he's put himself in line with. It was a tiny moment, but so very Edward!

A lot of people have done this scene, of course, but I always enjoy reading it. Every one is a little bit different. Yours had a depth and poignancy of the love between them that was very moving. You managed to keep it both sweet and passionate. Good job.
