Author's Response: It's true. Bella is quite naive and insecure. A lot of that is a result of being with Jake for so long - he has slowly eroded her confidence over time, but never fear; Edward will help her find her inner strength again!

Author's Response: Yeah, a lot of readers have 'issues' with Alice in this story. She's not really a BAD person - she truly does have Edward's best interests at heart, even though her actions a little misguided sometimes!

Author's Response: It's true; Bella has a certain naivete about her. She wants to believe the best about everyone. Some see this as a character flaw, but I don't think that her trusting nature is necessarily such a bad thing. She also has a lot of years invested with Jake, so it's only natural for her to be in a certain amount of denial. :)

Author's Response: Addiction is a scary and difficult thing to overcome. Unfortunately, I see so many talented celebrities sucked into this vicious cycle of self-destruction. This story is all about salvation, though. Edward and Bella both have demons to battle, but with each other's help, they will emerge victorious!

I liked seeing Jake's POV. It helps to understand his background. I liked seeing how he felt about Bella. He did care for her once and still does have some feeling for her...good. I'm glad he decided to man up and not fight Bella over what is rightfully hers. I hope he cheats on Leah. Great chapter.

Jake deserved it and more, frankly tho if I was Bella I wouldnt have given him any newspaper sob story fodder, just refused to see him and issued a statement. Although I realise that's not so dramatic, it's prolly more sensible than giving yer soon-to-be ex husband a broken nose.
Author's Response: LOL! I agree that Bella probably shouldn't have given Jake ammunition that he could use against her, but it was still incredibly gratifying to have her break his nose! I also wanted to really highlight how much stronger and more independent Bella has become. Even from a hospital bed, she's refusing to be the victim any more. I think you'll enjoy what's to come! :)

Great chapter - loved CPOV also, finally Claire has come around. Jacob needs a big dose of reality very soon though. So will Bella be going back to England with Edward now or will he stay with her until she can go?
