But I think you knew that already from my out of control reviews and the fact that I am reading it again. Sorry I didn't review the first time. Like I said I didn't know the proper procedures of how to interact in the fandom. What are you going to do? I am reading and review now which should count for something I think. :)
Anyways. You wrote a really good story. The plot flowed very nicely and the character development was amazing. And yes at times I wanted to cry and others I seriously laughed out loud but that is how you know it is a good story. Stories that illicet some type of emotion in the readers is always a keeper. :) Can't wait to start the sequel but for now I need to go home and feed my husband. I am sure he is starving in the living room looking at the kitchen willing me to be there so I can cook for him. :)
Again thanks for the story. It was awesome. And so was the ending. No crashing and burning like another story I know about a girl who loves a vamp who then marries said vamp and has his half vamp baby. I mean really WTF!?!?!? :)
Author's Response: Isn't it funny that rather than microwave something, or open a can, men just wait for the wives to feed them....Mine is the same away, except on Saturdays, when he desides to make a three course meal while I'm at work. After cleaning up his messess, I wish he'd waited for me to come and cook...
Oh, and your last little comment makes me laugh...If you do decided to read the sequel, which isn't finished yet, you'll probably laugh too.

Okay I have read the rest. I love that you randomly put in other people's pov. It adds another layer to the story line and getting to hear Edwards angish over his love about Bella and "taking what he could get" is amazing. And very similar to a human girl who loved a vampire that I once read about! I love how some of their character traits have switched. It is a very cool idea and it worked out really well I think.
Author's Response: I'm glad you picked up o those things, because a lot of reviewers didn't...or at least didn't mention it...This whole story was just a flip on New Moon! So Bravo to you!
Oh, and that line is one of my favorites too. I want to use it more!

Just when you think the fighting is all over. Oh no the crazy wives that they no doubt lock up in the basement to keep the crazy away come out to play and are not so happy about our little Bella and her amazing kick ass powers.
You did a really good job of showing the connections between the characters throughout the story. Some stories don't really develop the relationships between them but they are very evident throughout this story. I love how these relationships manifest themselves into the character's actions in believable ways. I think that is why your story is so amazing and is most definitely one of the reasons why I am rereading it.
Author's Response: As far as character relationships go, I know I shlibbed on a few...Like I never felt like I really portrayed Bella and Carlile's relationship as well as I should have. But, I make up for that in the sequel...Lots of platonic Carlilse interaction....

Also I always thought that Bella's shield was kind of a lame gift. I mean really. The others are so active and her's just blocks things out I mean come one. I would feel gypped if I was her. But in your story her power is AWESOME to the 10th power for sure! I love that she is so bad ass and people should know better than to fuck with her but they don't which leads to amazing stories to read about! :)

Alice is amazing with her ploting ways. And Emmett is so a badass and I love him for that. I love that he is so lighthearted all the time. Like when he was blowing up Volterra singing that song. HILARIOUS! His humor adds a nice balance to the emotional rollercoaster and the almost crying and the darkness of the rest of the story.

Again with the near crying. Although no the lab is deserted so I guess that is good. At least the lab tech is the only one to hear me sniffle in the corner of the lab as I read this story.
Also also I forgot to mention this last chapter but I love how Bella is the monster and how she feels that way about herself where Edward is pure and innocent. It is pretty freaken amazing and makes me smile at the backwards symmetry to the books. :)
And I also love Felix. Not as much as I love Jasper because lets face it Jasper is way fucken cool But Felix is a good guy none-the-less.

Again with the almost crying. Really. I am going to need this to stop before the people in the comp lab thing something is not right with me from going from smiling like an idiot (what else are you supposed to do when Bella and Edward get busy I mean really?) and laughing to doing my best not to cry like a baby. I would say I would just want and read the rest at home but really I have no patience for that so onward I go to get to the ending I already know but can't wait to reread. :)
Also I still love Jasper his relationship with Bella is very touching to me for some reason.

The shark hunt with Emmett is probably one of my favorite scenes in all of fanficdom. (I know that isn't a real word but whatever go with it) I mean really Emmett and Bella hunting sharks? It is not only hilarious but also genius. I mean really.
Author's Response: Now, that is truly a compliment! THank you!! That scene was a real work of love. I had the idea off Bella and Emmett going cliff-jumping since NM (which I think I said in my AN, so sorry if I'm repeating. I wrote this ages ago.) And then I had this thought about sharks (I think it was Shark Week on Discovery Channel or something) and wa-lah!! It wrote itself...except for when I had to retype it, because the original was brainstormed on a napkin when I was at lunch with my hubs and 4 kids...yes, I am that crazy insane with fanfiction.)

I love the dynamic throughout the story. I love how cool Jasper is even though Bella beat the hell out of him and I freaken love how territorial Rose is. I mean it is so cannon but I can't help but smile none-the-less. I mean she is a bitch but no one fucks with her family. :)
And have I mentioned my love for Jasper lately. Because I do. Alot. I also love confused flustered Edward! :)

Author's Response: Thanks! And I do have a good excuse abou Alice....Bella doesn't know her yet...That, and to make Bella look really bad, i was either Alice or Esme. Something tells me that not a lot of people would cry over Rosalie...and Esme is just off limits this fic...the sequel however....there are no guarentees...

Fuck. If Stephenie Meyer wrote an ending as good as this when she finished Breaking Dawn, I wouldn't glare at those stupid chess pieces everytime I see a copy of the book. This story was brilliant! Usually if I'm reading Twilight fanfiction, I steer clear of vampire stories, finding them to usually be pretty cliche'd (I mean seriously, how many different ways can you say "Edward didn't come back in new moon, so Bella got changed by Laurent" etc.) To say this story was just refreshing would be an understatement. I think a lot of writers could take a leaf out of your book! (Haha. Mental image of going onto FF.net next week and finding "Swapping sides"- a watered down poorly written version of this after someone read this review and took it too literally.) Um. Yeah. Rambling. This story is awesome. Can't wait to see what happens in the sequel!
Author's Response: Boy, I'm not sure how to respond to that. Uh...thanks! You know, I had the same problem with BD that you did and wrote a little filler that had a bit more action to replace the completely crappy almost fight. Its called What Should Have Happened, if you're interested. It's just a little one shot.
And I'm interested to see what you think of number 2. I've posted through chapter 7, with 8 in queue, and have written through chapter 12, so it's going really well. Plus I got a beta for that one, and she keeps my thoughts coherent and the plot moving at a delicate pace. (Plus she writes an amazing fic, which I totally plug, and it sounds like you like AH, so you should check it out!)
