This chapter is amazing ! Usually, when I read about a relationship (past or present) between Carlisle and Bella I get that weird icky feeling. But the way you played it out was truly heartwarming, and in a sweet manor:)

I'm always surprised when I recieve a review from this site.  I thought I'd slipped onto everyone's back page.  :) 

So, in response, know that if I had written this chapter even three months later than I did, it probably would have ended up giving you that icky feeling, but at this point I couldn't bring myself to do it.  I wanted to, but this was as close as I could get and still feel good about what I was writing.  I mean, everyone has a past, except cannon Edward, so I had to give Bella something.

Thank you!  I always worry about endings, but I think I'm just sad to see it go.  Now, I nailed the ending in the sequel, but bombed on the rest...go figure.  Read the epi for Breaking Ties...just skip the rest.

I just love your tough Bella.  She's pretty heartless here, but I get the feeling that these Cullens are going to cause some confusion for her, and it will be interesting to watch her deal.

Hi!  Well, I couldn't wait one more second, so I just had to come in for the first chapter, and I'll definitely be back.  Evil Bella!  I love it.  I have never read this kind of take on her, and also never read much about the Volturi, although they greatly intrigue me, so I'm excited to have a whole story dripping with them. :)

And Felix - ooh-la-la - you certainly do have a penchant for the bad boy. ;)

You paint a nice, sinister atmosphere of Volterra.  "Like a vein, it pulsed with life" - I especially like that one.

No hurry, no hurry.  Evil Bella will be here whenever you find free time.  I feel like I'm forgetting what that is, actually, but I do hope you will be back.  So, lots of the Volturi in this fic, and, of course, the Cullens.  And Edward...Yes, but I totally gave myself a crush on Felix when I was writing this one.  I like the bad boy its true, but there has to be something redeeming about them to make it stick...Felix totally goes there...
