Author's Response: He's a little clueless, as are many 17 year old boys. He just never thought that Tanya, who is like an aunt (albeit a slutty one) to his family would ever stoop to that level.

Yea! Finally! Edward's line: "I'm the most stupid, socially awkward vampire to ever be reborn-that's what's wrong." That's a great way to work in the title of the story. Looking forward to more. Oh, and please really make Tanya pay for this. :)

Brilliant! Esme is freaking brilliant! And you are brilliant for that chapter. I LOVED IT! I totally see why this is a favorite chapter; it's freaking brilliant! I know I already said that, but it needed another one. ;) Again with the fantastic characterizations. This story is such a pleasure to read! "Bleach! I need bleach!" I cried. Once again excellent interactions. Alice/Jasper and Rose/Emmett are fabulous! Really cool! Although it's tough to pick one favorite line or even two, I think Rose was my fav: "He needed to know the rules: 1. I'm always right. 2. I always get my way. 3. You are supposed to cave to my wishes." That is just hysterical! :D

Great chapter. Lots of ups and downs. Cool that Alice is already getting her visions. How does she react to that? The boys are simply adorable here. Edward thinks he's a stud! Love it. Now if he could only get her to talk to him! :)

Yeah, this was another great cliffhanger. Cliffhangers are good things! Especially when used judiciously. This was really good choice. Tanya is such a BITCH! You really made me hate her, like instantly. Go set her up with Jacob! LOL! Sorry to the Jacob fans, I'm just kidding. So Bella still has self-worth issues ( I wish I didn't empathize so much with that). Poor girl. Well, at least she had moments earlier. I hope she is able to work her way back to her earlier confidence in the next few chapters. I guess I'll just have to keep reading to find out. ;) This is a cool plot twist. Where will it go from here? Tanya needs some serious comeuppance for this. Reading on...

Oh my gosh! Poor Carlisle! That totally fits that Carlisle dealt with Royce to protect his family and prevent more deaths. You really wrote Royce as a bad guy. Very sinister. Wow, that's an understatement! I would not have been surprised whoever it was that did it. That's a testament to your writing that you can keep me guessing. Great job! :) The Carlisle and Esme interaction worked really well too. You make all of the Cullen character interactions (including the girls as well) so interesting. I am so partial to Edward and Bella, but I enjoy all of your interactions. It adds a greater depth to the story how well you have fleshed out all of the characters. So I guess all that means that I liked the chapter. My favorite line came from Edward: "Could life suck a little more, please?" How very teenage angst! Lovely. p.s. Sorry I didn't get to read earlier. Myyounger brother got home from work and needed to talk for a few hours. So I had to postpone, but no longer! Yea! Reading on... :)

I can't believe he wasn't worried about Bella meeting Tanya earlier. Edward was so sweet to Bella in this chapter and it breaks my heart that she thinks he is mated to Tanya. So confusing for her.
