That was sooo sweet! Edward's proposal, as well as Jasper's, fit so well with the characters. It's so touching! The title for this chapter perfectly describes it-- "Insanely Romantic" Indeed! I could not help but sigh at the gestures of these wonderful manpires! This entire chapter was one giant Squee! Geez, I sure hope that Bella and Alice say "yes." ;D I don't have any ideas for Emmett, but I'll let you know if I do. My fav line was "she's a bit of a dolled up Tom-boy. She's like a little girl who wears dresses to play in the dirt, ya' know?" I used to do the same thing! But I am so not Rose. It brought back memories. :) Oh yeah, Edward wearing tights for his proposal and Bella laughing at that was totally snort-worthy! "Just thought you ought to know."
Author's Response: Thanks for the snort. I've got the next chapter to my beta, and it details Emmett's proposal, which is very true to his character as well. I might have to take a break from the story for a while because I feel I'm getting writer's block. I want good ideas, not just ideas.

EEEEE I got butterflies in my stomach reading Edward and Jasper's proposal. Wow. You did really good with those two... Emmett is going to have a super tough time. Rose is one tough cookie to crack. Hmmmm... well, I can't think of anything right now. I'm sure you'll come up with something fantabulous :)

No,no. I was laughing about the tights. I'm just not sure how I feel about Edward in them...lol. But the whole proposal was very sweet, something I could see him doing.
Author's Response: Again, if he was actually in the play, unless it was a modern adaptation, he would be wearing tights. I thought it was funny. It's not like he's going to start wearing hose on a regular basis--that would just be wrong. Anyway, I am glad that you liked it. Thanks for reading.

Author's Response: Thanks. I know this sounds ridiculous, but I am just now reading Romeo and Juliet for the first time, and I adore it. My high school was spent learning to write term papers and think in complete sentences, so I missed out on a whole lot of fantastic literature. So that is what I read now--classics and sci-fi/fantasy. Thanks for reading.

Author's Response: What do you object to about the "Thou wearest tights?" Just curious. I thought it was funny. If they were truly doing the play, he would most likely be wearing tights. I have found something for Emmett. It's cute, over-the-top, and there's a bit of humor as a result.

Edward's proposal WAS pretty over the top. Any guy wearing tights makes me snicker too. But it was ridiculously sweet and seems like something he really would do. I can't think of anything good for Emmett and Rose. She likes being the center of attention, so I think something public (ie, in front of the family) would be up her alley.

That is one one to get rid of a nasty, irritating vampire! It's interesting that you made Bella's power "a bubble" that Edward can also be in.
Author's Response: I wanted Bella's power to be different but similar to her shield. I wanted it to sparkle, kind of making it similar to her skin--a second skin, if you will. It's has more properties than SM's shield, and those will be revealed in time. Bella's going to be really powerful.
