I'm smitten w/Edward too! When I started reading this, I had an inkling that he was kidnapping her. You made those 4 days in the forest question that, great writing. I'm alittle afraid of James at the moment, Bella has seen all of them, so she will have to die. Are you one of those HEA writers? I'm hoping that you are. Surely this is not a finished story. You can't just leave us hanging like this. I loved Withering Ferns and look for updates daily but if this is the way you leave us hanging then I do not want to read any thing else you START to write and never FINISH. Well, the story is very good, but I feel like I didn't get closure, I don't know what'll happen next. But I go and trust my fantasies and say that they both get away whole and healthy and that Edward can explain to his family, give his fathers job back to him and go off and live happily ever after with Bella and have small little Bellward babies :)
