Okay, I'm gonna give it a shot.  I've never actually read any of the vampire Bella, human Edward stories before, so this will be my first!

Author's Response:

Thanks for giving it a shot! I'll try to have chapter 2 posted asap!

I think you're heading in a good direction with this, I really like the role reversal you have going on.  I did notice two things though.  Firstly, even though its obvious from the summary, throw in an EPOV at the top. When I read the first two paragraphs I was assuming it was Bella talking until the part where his mom talks to him comes in so that threw me off.  Secondly, don't be afraid to throw in extra details, even if they seem mundane.  Those little details help paint a pretty picture :)  Keep writing, you're doing a great job!

Author's Response:

First off, thank you so much for your review! I was hesitant to write this at first only because I knew I didn't want to keep it all canon all the time. Obviously Emmett would make a great football captain and Alice wouldn't hesitate to talk to the new guy. It's all about perception, I guess. For future reference, this is going to be all EPOV except maybe a bonus alternate perspective or two when I need a break out of Edward's head. I look forward to writing more soon!

looking forward to more

Author's Response:

Thanks for your review! Here's a Chapter 2 teaser:

My assailant sat on the cot opposite me while Ms. Cope spoke with my mother. Only able to hear one end of the conversation, Elizabeth took it a lot better than I thought she would. I was an only child and Elizabeth was a single parent, so she had a natural tendency to be over-protective, over-bearing and somewhat annoying about any little thing that might happen to me.
