This was great.  I haven't given much thought to what life would be like for the Cullens that far into the future, and I haven't read any fics that do that.  I think you did a great job of spelling it out.  I like the idea of the Volturri being gone, and having a council to manage vamp affairs.

When people talk about immortality, I don't know that they really understand what it would mean to never die.  I think that LolaShoes did a pretty good job of beginning that exploration in <i>A Life Extraordinary</i>, but, as that doesn't go far beyond Bella's change, it's only a start.  To think about what E&B are doing on their 100th anniversary is a really neat place to begin.  And, at that point, I think it leaves the fantasy realm and moves into science fiction, when you think of what the world will be like in 100, 200 years.  Maybe that's why it hasn't much been tackled in the fan fiction world.  But, please correct me if I'm wrong about that.  :)

Nice to know that Stefan finally got a chance to smirk at Aro and that Caius got his.  Marcus probably was more than ready to go when the time came.  As to the Cullens, well, what can you say -- they are leaders and do what is necessary and productive.  Jacob and Resnesmee -- still don't like it, but what can I say?  I didn't create it so I guess there's not much to do about changing all of that. 

Now with all of that drivel out of the way, I want to compliment you again, Ms. Laura, for doing an excellent job of writing and entertaining your loyal readers.  This was a bit fluffy for my taste, but in keeping with summarizing a few decades, right?  Thanks again for all that you do!

that was SO beatuiful. i love the bit about the allience, plus, im so happy to see that each member of the cullen family, jake inlcluded, are having such full and wonderful lives, (will ness and jacob have any children, i wonder?)

you are an excellent writer and i'd love to see this story extended to include more in-dept details over the past 100 years, or, perhaps a follow-up. keep writing and you've done the storyline and characters proud!
