Very powerful chapter!
First. Loved the consummation scene. Being in Jacob's head was intense, for me. And I could see why he phased and privately have wondered if that particular reaction was more common among the pack than not. Scary. I feel terrible for him.
Then the Alice to the Rescue. Wow. So, my understanding is that she came, she changed, and she took Bella away.
Did Jacob die from the bites? Venom being lethal to the werewolves?
Sam said he wasn't going to grant vengeance, so I'm guessing Edward isn't out of the picture? Why wouldn't he grant vengeance? Is it because Jacob's dead already?
Anyway. Great chapter!!!

This was a really interesting chapter-and it went by so fast with the multiple points of view (which I loved). I have to say I am clueless as to what happens next-other than Bella becoming a vampire. Update soon!

I don't understand... why would edward rather have a dead bella than a vampire bella? that doesn't sound right. I love your writing but I don't know about that. I do like how this happened right after Bella and Jacob were married. Interesting twist. I remember Jacob asking Billy if it was ok, but what about Charlie? He'd flip a lid if Bella married without him knowing. Looking forward to the next chapter! Hopefully Edward isn't dead.... pretty please? :)
Author's Response: Basically, when I read the story, I believed Edward was gone for good. And I was just as skeptical as Bella when he did come back. So on that note, I stuck with what Edward said. Something along the lines of I will not take away your soul. And then I took some inspiration from Midnight Sun, where you see how much Edward really despises what he is. AND in MY story, Bella never got the chance to change that feeling, so he would rather Bella die, than...her "soul die".
(The Charlie thing might actually be my next chapter!)
And no one will know about Edward until chapter after next.

Ohhhh. Just found your story and am a big fan! Can't wait to see what happens next. Furthermore, I can't decide what I want to have happen next which is exactly how I felt as I read Eclipse- not sure whether to rejoice that Bella and Jacob may get together or be horrified at the thought.... Hmm. Great story- keep it up!
On a more somber note, I am sorry about your rat. My sister had rats when we were little and they are such sweet creatures. It's always hard to loose a pet, but I think you did the right thing by making sure it didn't suffer needlessly.

(1) Thanks sooo much for the shout out. I'm truly honored. I love ya too girl (well, that is, as long as you keep updating, haha jk).
(2) I'm sorry it took me so long to read this chapter... I had to drive cross country back to school and was, sadly, without internet. Being somewhat addicted to this website, I'm not exactly sure how I survived without it for a week, but I managed. Oh, and I had to move into my apartment as well (and start sorting the resumes of all the girls going through sorority rush for my house). Needless to say, I've been a busy bee.
And FINALLY (yes, it's about damn time)...the review:
Jacob buying a ring? Somehow unbelievably free. The money for gas on the car ride from La Push to Forks? 5 dollars. The look on Bella's face when he proposed? Priceless.
Did Jacob use the good ol' Mastercard to buy that gas? haha. Sorry, this review, so far, has been an awful attempt at a joke.
But seriously. WOW. Really? Bella said yes??? As much as I'm enjoying this story, I can't wait for team Edward to be heard from (though, I guess it kinda was when Bella subconsciously really wanted it to be Edward's scent she was smelling and his cold hand she was holding after the proposal).
I can't wait to see what happens next. Are they going to be married before he phases and nearly kills her during/after sex? If so (or if not), I can't wait to see how this all pans out! Please update soon. I'm eagerly awaiting! (Though please don't take offense if you don't hear from me for a few weeks because I have to help my house with sorority rush...not that I don't love it, it's just a very busy few weeks prepping for it). Hope all is well!

2- I just went overnight without this website, and I had to get on as SOON as I got home. I was intrigued by your prologue, so I read this first chapter and I am really impressed... I never really liked the "helpless and whiney" version of Bella. Your version seems like she is stronger, more reasonable. Nice Work!

I've just read about your pet rat...I'm really sorry..It's a very difficult situation...I lived the same experience this year with my beloved cat. It's hard, I know, but you did everything for her (she was a she, right?), you loved her and you have always been with her when she needed tou.
