You said to take what you know from Twilight and read carefully to what Sam says to Billy so......
Edward is alive (or whatever a vampire is) because they didn't burn the pieces and the teaser is EPOV when he comes back. Am I right?
I am so loving your story and I can't quite figure out why. I think it is because it is so different. Good different. Dark different. Unlike anything else I have read on fanfiction. I also like how it is a little vague around the edges. Just enough to pull you in but not so much that it drives me effing insane.
BTW, I am also hopelessly 100% Team Edward as well :)

From the teaser, I have a gut feeling Edward's not dead.. Sam said they ripped him to pieces.. but did they burn him, is Jacob really dead, the conversation Sam and Billy had confused me?? I can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: I'm glad you're confused! Haha. Although, I thought it was clearer that Jacob, is in fact, deceased. My original story plot included Edward's death, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. So, someone had to go, and I chose Jacob. I'm glad you're looking forward to the next chapter, though. Author's Response: I know this chapter was short, and I'm sorry about that, but I really just wanted everyone to know the Charlie side of the situation, and this chapter kind of served as a tide-over until we find out what happened to Bella, and then Edward. Sam is VERY VERY CAREFUL. I think I generally see him that way (except in the fic Leah's Sunrise, here @ Twilighted, where he isn't always so careful) and it suits.
Of course, I could be wrong about all of the above, but I'll say this. I think Billy took it really, really well.

Ok, I'm sorry, I was just a bit socked when I wrote the previous message...I'm still going to read this story, becase I like it, I like you, and I want to know what happens next. I just don't want to be sad and cry while reading as i'm now because I read about Edward's PRESUMED death. So, I really hope our beloved Edward is still alive, Jacob could be dead, so Bella wakes up, finds the love of her existance still alive. she could be shoked about her hausband's death and so on...ok?

So my inital reaction at the end of this chapter was WHAT. THE. F*@!. There is no Bella without Edward and visa versa! I actually thought OK Edwards dead I'm done.
However......
I read the reviews to gather opinions from other readers and now I'm intrigued as to where you might take this story. Is Edward really dead? Did Jacob die from his attack? What the eff will Charlie say? Surely Billy will have to tell him something?If Jacob lived, will he stay with Bella after she changes? If Edward lived, how will he take the news that Jacob and Bella gor married?
See too many unanswered questions too abandon you, LOL. I look forward to the next chapter and hopefully some answers.
