I'm wondering how Carlisle will take the news when Bella and Edward finally tell him. I'm awaiting your next update, I'd like to see Bella and Charlie interacr and how he felt about her marriage. =)

Author's Response:

Well then you should enjoy the next chapter. : )

Reviewer: infektion (Signed) · Date: August 24, 2009 04:50 PM · On: Chapter 21

I'm just now catching up on your updates. I love the little rivarly between Edward and Jacob, it amuses me.

Author's Response:

Thanks, just cause I didn't have Jacob as a love intrest doesn't mean they have to like each other. : )

I've known people who married older men, who had bad or absent fathers, and sometimes it does work, but I don't think they are aware of their reason for marrying older men.  It's unusual for Bella to know that's a factor in her relationship with Carlisle.  You have the opportunity for some interesting conversations with Charlie!

Author's Response:

Well I think that a relationship has the ability to work despite age differences but with Bella and Carlisle it was too much of a companionship and not enough of the fire. You need both to make a marraige work.

Of course there are other reasons we like your story.  I love it over all.  I really like how you are taking Edward and Bella's relationship slowly.  They need that after what they went through.  I'm really glad that Edward's relationship with is father is better.  I can't wait until the time Carlise finds out about Edward and Bella that is going to be a low blow and why do I get the feeling that he is going to see them first before they tell him.  Anyway wonderful story I love it and get excited when I see an update. Great work.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much. You will just have to wait and see if you are right about how Carlisle finds out.

interesting chapter; i wonder how charlie will react to bella and edward's relationship or if she'll even bring it up! i'm also wondering what she'll discover about her relationship with her father; it may help her and edward with their relationship!
they seem to be getting on fine, but it feels, from reading this chapter, that something is stopping them; like there is always an elephant in the room. which wouldn't be hard to have, considering the circumstances!

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review. There are a few things that they need to work through in order to start clearing that elephant out of the room. Charlie is the first step.

I want to see the confrontation when Carlisle finds out it has been Edward all along

Author's Response:

Good things will come to those who wait. : )

This story is so completely messed up...it's like a psychologist's dream or something :)

Author's Response:

Thanks, my mind is really twisted so I am glad to provide enjoyment to psychologists and readers alike. : )

I think it's a good thing that SHe is going to see Charlie.  Yes, it seemed liek at the beginning she was memely attracted to Carlisle, but with the age difference and the things she did for him, it's like she was taking care of her dad.

I was a bit surprised that Edward and Rosalie are roommates in a dormitory.  Am I just so far behind the times that this occurs these days?  I usally think of co-ed dorms with alternating floors or wings for the opposite sex, not in the same room.  I had assumed Edward & Rosalie shared an apartment somewhere.

Liz

Author's Response:

To be honest I have no idea if they would allow co-ed dorms but I didn't care cause I wanted them together so we will pretend in my magical land that it happens. : )

Reviewer: kvgamble (Signed) · Date: August 23, 2009 09:38 PM · On: Chapter 22

so that why she was with carlisle because of daddy issues. hmmmm....

if she really loves and cares for edward, she is going to have to bite the bullet and let him tell who he is with.

great story cannot wait for next chapter

Author's Response:

She was looking for the wrong kind of love with Carlisle. She wanted the companionship that she missed with her dad. That is also the type of relationship that Carlisle was looking for. That is why they worked together, well until she met Edward anyways. : )

Reviewer: lavishone (Signed) · Date: August 23, 2009 09:33 PM · On: Chapter 22

Yes, there are other things I like about this story.  Like, I like the real way you show Bella's flawed relationship with Charlie.  It's much more realistic this way.

Really liking this story and hope you update soon...feeling pretty greedy right now...

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for reviewing again. I love them all.

Reviewer: BellaS (Signed) · Date: August 23, 2009 09:13 PM · On: Chapter 22

I promise that I will review regardless if lemons are included.

As for edward and Bella, it just seems so weird for them to be able to talk about Carlisle and not let it affect their sex lives (at least before Carlisle's call).

Thank you so much for finally setting up Edward and bella's coupledom coming out.

Author's Response:

Thank you, I know you are awesome with the reviews regardless and I really appreciate it.  Their joking was a way to detach them from reality and as you see it didn't work.

Reviewer: branlc (Signed) · Date: August 23, 2009 09:12 PM · On: Chapter 22

I'm glad to see that she is trying to work out her daddy issues.

Author's Response:

Thank you, it was something that she needed to do.

I am really interested in seeing how he tells his dad, and how Esme takes it.

Author's Response:

Don't worry, it will happen, just not yet. : )

Reviewer: dvandever (Signed) · Date: August 23, 2009 08:48 PM · On: Chapter 22

I am so wondering how this is gonna work out.  Of course for them to be together in a serious long term relationship they have to tell Carlisle and I can't even imagine how thats gonna pan out but for now I am just excited to see what Bella has to say to Charlie!

Author's Response:

Well you will just have to keep reading to find out if/how it works out.

Thanks for your review.

I think emily is going to be a problem.

Author's Response:

Thanks for your review, stay tuned to find out.

Glad they had some honest conversation with each other, but I still feel ike the story is far from over.

Author's Response:

Yes, there is still much to happen. Enjoy the down time. : )

Reviewer: Gelsamina (Signed) · Date: August 22, 2009 04:38 AM · On: Chapter 21

How long before everything comes out?  I'm guessing J & V will talk about their friends hooking up.

Author's Response:

We get a bit of happiness first so enjoy it while it lasts. : )  Thanks for the review.

Reviewer: love2readE-B (Signed) · Date: August 22, 2009 02:10 AM · On: Chapter 21

aw, what a good chapter! i enjoyed that E&B are becoming a little bit braver with their relationship!

Author's Response:

Thank you. It was nice to write them juts hanging out again. : )

Reviewer: lavishone (Signed) · Date: August 21, 2009 10:30 PM · On: Chapter 21

On the one hand, I am happy that Edward and Bella are spending time together.  There is a part of me though, and I'm not sure how big it is, which is appalled at Bella breaking her marriage vows.  It's just hard  to imagine.

Interested in knowing how Bella will reconcile this with her conscience.

Author's Response:

Thank you, it is the same problems I faced while writing it. I think cheating is wrong but I think Edward and Bella belong together. This is the journey they take and it is filled with mistakes, I'm not sure Bella will ever be reconciled with her conscience on this one.

Reviewer: BellaS (Signed) · Date: August 21, 2009 09:59 PM · On: Chapter 21

I'm happy they got to talk about christmas and clear the air. It's refreshing to see Emily as not so nice. I'm assuming that Em and Rose will meet somewhere in the near future, but I still cannot wait for Carlisle to find out!

Author's Response:

Yes Em and Rose will meet and Carlisle will find out but you will have to wait to see when. : )

Reviewer: dvandever (Signed) · Date: August 21, 2009 09:06 PM · On: Chapter 21

I like how you have flipped so many people, Victoria being sweet and Emily being mean...i like it.  I am curious though if Rose knows what really happened and thats why she stopped Emily so quickly or she doesn't like that Emily is so territorial about Edward.  Anyway great chapter, I can't wait to see what happens with them!

Author's Response:

Thanks, I didn't want to pin Rose into the bitchy character like she is so often potrayed so I roped poor Emily into that spot. : )

Reviewer: maryrose (Signed) · Date: August 21, 2009 08:43 PM · On: Chapter 21

NOW we know the reason why edward left.... ok so lyk many of us kinda already knew but still. Update soon!! plis! can't wait tell they tell carlisle end esme:)!!

Author's Response:

I am glad that clears up Edward's motives for you. But just let these two kids be happy for a bit before they have to tell the parents.

Reviewer: Gwilwillith (Signed) · Date: August 21, 2009 08:50 AM · On: Chapter 20

This is a really interesting story...I was totally shocked when you revealed that Bella had married Carlisle and I'm suprised that Rosalie hasn;t been introduced to Emmet yet.  I love it though, you have the sensitivity and romance and passion that this story needs! Can't wait to read more!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much, I am glad that the romance is coming through even though it is a tough subject. And don't worry I won't leave Rose and Emmett hanging. : )

Reviewer: Elizabethan (Signed) · Date: August 20, 2009 05:55 PM · On: Chapter 20

This was a funny line from Edward:  "Everything about you draws me in." - nice twist on canon.

So where will they end up - I'm guessing this story is not even close to over yet, but it's nice to see them getting to know each other.  But so much for taking it slow...

Author's Response:

Thank you, you are my 200th review!!!!!!

I'm glad you enjoyed my cannon quote, as for the story there are eight chapters left and an epilogue so there is a bit more to happen yet.

Reviewer: branlc (Signed) · Date: August 20, 2009 12:15 PM · On: Chapter 20

Good chapter! It's going to be a hard road for them, but I'm glad that they are going to try. Hopefully everything will work out.

Author's Response:

Thank you. I hope you will enjoy the journey as well as the destination for this story.
