I think it's probably better that the truth is out there, rather than have the secret of the affair hanging over them. But I still sense the tension there, like things will get worse before they get better, if they get better - I mean with the tone you have set for this story, it could almost go either way. Looking forward to seeing where they go from here.

Wow - you covered a lot in such a short chapter! Yeah, that's probably not the best way for them to find out, but it was going to be tense no matter how it happened, and Bella did the right thing by leaving them to talk. I am looking forward to the next chapter!

oooooo ok, I can see some cracks forming already!
It started with the strawberry body wash - he doesn't like the smell so she has to stop using it???
And then the nacklace that wasn't to her taste at all.....uh oh I see trouble ahead for this couple - and I think his name is Edward ;)
Author's Response: Yeah I got some flack from people about the body wash saying Carlisle is controlling. But if my husband was sporting a smell I didn't like or vise versa we would totally react this way.

I was't expecting them to meet that way. That was really well written. I loved it. I was worried on how Carlise was going to take it well hell I have to wait for the next chapter to find out what Edward says to his parents. I have just found this story and am reading it as fast as I can because I am loving it!!
I think this story is wonderful so far and deserves many more reviews but I think that unfortunetly people will freak out with the Bella/Carlisle coupling and might not continue reading. Which is their loss because the story is great :)
I loved the Emmett character in this story, perfect!! I loved his "smack talk" lol - sooooo Emmett :)
Ok, on to the next chapter :) I can't wait *squeals*

Wow, even if I knew his parents would learn about him and Bella this way, it was still unexpected in some way.
I really hope Edward is going to manage to convince his parents that they really love each other and that it had nothing to do with Carlisle.

omg!!! Thanks for finally giving me what I have been impatiently waiting for. I liked how it went down. It was really clever of Esme to wait them out. I was disappointed in Bella leaving at the end, especially since Edward got all panicked about it, but I totally understand where she is coming from. As for my last review about Esme hating her, I meant in the sense that she was Carlisle's cheating ex-wife. I also thought that she would be possessive of Edward because it was really just the two of them for a really long time.
Author's Response: Your welcome. To be honest it was really hard to decide what to do with Bella, should she stay or should she go? But I decided it would be the best for Edward to deal with his parents without the added stress of defending Bella while they attack her. So she left.
