It is a true testament to Bella's love that she is willing to confront Carlisle- on his "home turf" no less!
I hope that Carlisle can be a loving father and be happy for Edward- regardless of who he's with.

I think Bella did the right thing by going to see Carlisle. He may not believe her and he may not ever accept her in Bella's life, but it proves she does love Edward enough to want him to have a good relationship with his father. I don't think that makes her selfish for wanting Edward to be whole. At least now it's looking a bit more hopeful that things might work out, although I still sense more drama before any kind of happy (or positive) ending.

I'm nervous about what he is going to say/do when he finds out.
I am wondering if he still loves Bella or if he completely let her go from the pain and betrayal. I know that he is back with Esme now but he might still love bella.
Author's Response: I think both Carlisle and Bella love each other, it's just more of a companionship kind of love.

I can totally understand Bella's point of view here, how could she tell her ex-husband that she is now dating his son and that the son is who she cheated on him with??? I think Carlisle might dis-own Edward for it.
It's such a difficult situation. Maybe they could just run away and never see anyone again lol

Ok, I have come to the conclusion that the Twilight fandom in general SUCK! This story is AMAZING and you don't have anywhere near the amount of reviews you deserve! I am going to put a stop to this!
I am an author as well, (which you know because you read one of my stories, thanks for that by the way) and in my next A/N I am going to rec the hell out of this story so that some of my readers will come and review this and make it more popular.

That was wonderful. Heartbreaking for Edward for losing his dad again, but they will make amends again. He will see the love that is shared between Edward and Bella and know that they truly love one another. Now Carlisle can be happy again with Esme. I'm so happy everything seems to be okay and that Edward and Bella found each other. Great work.

I can understand why Edward left, he felt guilty. He had just started to rebuild a relationship with his father after years of hating him and thinking he was a cheater and then he has sex with his wife, in his house, on Christmas Day. In essence he became the thing he hated most about his father. No wonder he freaked out!
I am so loving this story and am forcing myself to write this review and not just go and click the "next" button lol :)

I am guessing that the person who stopped reading has been cheated on and so the topic hits a nerve for that person. I have been cheated on as well but I know how to distance myself from it.

Author's Response: Thanks, I actually thought the reviewer that got mad at me and left was funny. She started very early on telling me that she didn't want them to have an affair and that she would stop reading. I told her in my review responses that it was going to happen. (She obviously didn't read them).
I think that Bella would have been aware of her noises and kept them down so that Edward wouldn't have heard. : )
