In real life the good guys don't win and get taken from us. It's that part of a story that touches us because we can relate to it. We feel it. We've all known some loss. (And if some haven't yet, they will one day.) And you write so well, I get caught up in the story. I can "suspend my disbelief" and "join with" the characters.
It's what got me all caught up with The Twilight Saga to begin with. Who wouldn't want an Edward or a Jacob? (In my opinion.)
Perhaps you've noticed, I've read through most of your stories here on Twilighted. I've bumbled my way over to FF.net to go through them there!

Haha! I hope you continue a bit more with these characters. I would have liked to see more of the rest of the family. They kinda disappeared into the background. But I loved the storyline.

I chose, for this story, to keep my focus on Jake and Nessie to keep the storyline tight. I realize that a lot of the other family members were not limelighted, but to keep it tight, I stuck to my original idea.

I decided to go with the Billy from the initial Twilight movie. The one who glared at Edward as he drove by. A purist. I concur, that Breaking Dawn Billy might not have been so hardnose...but...he comes 'round a little. Eventually.
Life is not, as I will say later in this story, perfect.

Pardon me for skimming ahead, i wanted to get this question answered.
The circle relates to the relationship, yes. It was something Jake has been doing since Ness was born, so it's about their being parts of a whole more than it is romantic.

I enjoyed my Edward here, too. The Edward/Jacob dynamic was, to me, one of the most fascinating parts of the original Twilight Saga. I think Edward would make a great dad.

I must say that I love your story plot you have going on here. I loved chapter one..the preface was good. It has gotten my so excited to get back to that part LOL. But I really love this story so far hun. Great job.
Though I don't see how the soundproof room would work. They are vampires....wouldn't they still hear? I would think so. Also its not that smart because I have a feeling that one of the bad guys..perhaps the guy like her is going to sneak into her bedroom without anyone hearing what is going on and is going to cause trouble...only a guess though.

So, I've gotta admit, I just finished reading this story for the second, and I cannot put into words how much I love this story! Of all the post BD fics that I've read, yours is one of my top favorites. The fact that it's Jake/Nessie is like icing on a (very delicious) cake.
