Wow what a wonderful piece of work this is! Its left me wanting to know more, my heart breaking for the loss of his previous life and anger for the corperation that took everything away from him and so many more. I totally loved it, would love to read more about the adventures of Slade :D

Thank you so much!  This was really an interesting experience, writing for a topic that was assigned for a contest.  It's very new to me.

I'm so glad you found the characters sympathetic.  Makes me feel good!

I may have to explore these characters further.  If I ever do, it'll probably go up on fanfic.net.  We'll see.  I'm currently editing a novel and starting work on two others, a sequal to the one I'm editing and a totally unrelated story, so this story may take a back seat for a while.
