I'm with Terenthia on this one. It doesn't make sense in a biological way. Plus, Imprinting also affects the emotions of both individuals, so Renesme would have conflicting emotions towards both Leah and Jake.
Unless you have something very sneaky up your sleeve, I'm not sure there is a way around this.

Um, imprinting occurs in order to breed shapeshifters. Leah imprinting on Renesmee makes no sense whatsoever. I have no problem with the idea of Leah being a lesbian, or whatever, but this really doesn't make any sense from an imprinting "biological imperative" perspective.
