Edward with the sweatshirt was one of my favorite parts to write; it was a little special moment between them.

it's all been about how edward deals with his pain and how is trying to move through it. when will bella begin to face her's? i think edward will help and maybe even go to la push with her.
can't wait to see what happens next...
Author's Response: You are exactly right, and the first person to mention this. In a way, Bella is living vicariously through the others. They have lost someone, they understand how she is feeling and by helping them heal, she's trying to heal herself.
Edward will be of help in some later chapters... good ideas.

Great chapter. Your Emmett is so insightful. I am glad Edward has at least stopped drinking for 6 weeks now. I realize he might slip up but I think he wants to get better for not only himself but Bella as well. I am sure Bella feels bad for yelling at her dad but maybe he didn't say anything because he knew she needed to vent. Looking forward to more. =-D
Author's Response: Insightful Em is my favorite :) Edward's doing really well right now, but... we know that there are always bumps in every recovery so... this is the calm before the storm so to speak.
Bella does feel bad for yelling at Charlie, but she's also never explained to him why she doesn't like talking about it so... how is he supposed to know it hurts her, ya know? And she did need to vent, she's going through a lot too.

Author's Response: Yeah, I caught that after lol. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter and I'm not promising anything as far as happy ending wise. It could go that way, or it might not. It all depends on how the story is flowing at each point. I'm thinking HEA... but... we shall see.

Author's Response: I'm in love with Edward too... but Em's a very intruiging character in this story. And is kind of a good calm spot for Edward a lot of times, even when he is being a dick.

Dunno if you noticed but the chapter occurs twice. I got to the end of the chapter and it continued to a repeat of the same chapter.

Yeah, alcohol withdrawal isn't pretty. I'm a nurse and have worked in drug/alcohol rehab in the past.
This is so funny: "I looked back over to Edward and wondered what he could possibly be reading about that was so interesting that it would make him stop shoving his fingers inside the vagina replica and making moaning noises."
I love Edward's reaction tp the heartbeat!!!!!
Author's Response: No it's not pretty. I have a family memeber who's a recovering alcoholic, I've seen the effects... it's tough.
I laughed really hard writing that part... really hard.
Edward's reaction to the heartbeat was my favorite part to write!
