Great chapter. Charlie is cool. Except for when he knocked Bella over. I know it was an accident, but still. Know where your daughter is, jeez.

That was a great backstory and explained a lot about Bella's personality. It explains her natural instinct not to trust people. It was very good how the characters of Charlie and Jasper were developed through Edward's inner dialogue and Bella's conversation in the kitchen with the men.
I continue to adore this innocent little child, Ellie, and her relationship with the men in her life. The mispronouncing names is adorable. I love Ednerd and now Jathsper. I love that Bella is not using Edward to scratch that itch. She truly seems to be attracted to him and care for him. I don't think that toy that she is buying will get much use with Edward around.
