I always thought Bella was both selfish and naive in Eclipse. Selfish, because she hung on to Jacob as a backup, knowing how he felt about her and knowing that it caused problems with Edward. Naive, because she didn't fully realize the depth of the emotional trauma everyone was experiencing. Of course, in Breaking Dawn, Jacob ended up being the key to everyone's happiness-protecting her pregnancy, allowing the change, and stopping the Volturi before they just attacked. But I do so love to hear Edward's thoughts, because he always seems so cryptic in the books!

i think he is controlling, BUT i always understood that bella also doesn't see him clearly as well - and that she's quite hurting him in her ways, by not aknowledging that edward is despite his 'real'age still 17, still a boys in some ways. as you said - he will never get over certain things...and i think by always thinking edward to be able to overlook things she does him injutice because he's never really sure of her...i think the story "atlas shrugged" sees it exactly how i feel...

Oh, wow - I know you didn't mark it as complete, but even knowing that I was still expecting to stumble into a one-shot. Very happy there'll be three more chapters. =D
I love your opening for this; that is so them, and the geeky TV refs were hilarious (I love random references so much <3). Nice introspection on Edward's part, too. I love missing scene fics, and this one's looking like it's going to be (even more) fantastic (than it already is ;P).

I loved the absolute flip of emotions you showed Edward having from the fun of the hunting trip (and goading Emmett) to the absolute terror, fury, and insecurity of waiting for Bella at the border. Nice job!

I really your enjoyed your story! Eclipse was my favorite book of the series...and there were so many little moments in it that I would love to see through Edward's POV. He is always beating himself up over every little thing. It is good for him to realize that the only reason she feels any devotion to Jake at all is because he left her in the first place. And I did recognize your advertising slogans...and chuckled over all of them! :o)
Adding this to favorites, and looking forward to your updates! I'm really hoping someone will do the scene where Bella is trying to seduce him....and he eventually gets down on his knee to propose. That was my favorite scene of the whole series...and I've yet to find anyone that has written it from Edward's POV.
Keep up the great work!
