This story is awesome, P. I love how you keep adding unexpected perspectives... I would have expected to see this scene from Charlie's POV, or even Esme's, but Emmett did it much better than I think they would have.

Another great chapter! I think it's a good thing that you held off on giving Charlie the "big" news in Forks...he would've gone into the hospital with guns a blazin' (literally)!

Ouch is right - I cried alright, and the intensity of this chapter actually gave me a headache in, like, 5 minutes! A beautiful portrayal of two broken people - I could picture the scene clearly, and it's a heartbreaking one. Edward's speeches in this chapter are powerful, but I know that's not going to be enough when Bella regains consciousness, so I am curious now as to what the next step is on their broken journey. Great writing, as usual!!

WOW! Emmett and Esme sure got the shitty end of the stick eh... But at least the chief know Bella is alive!!! Im sitting her patiently waiting for the next chapter while I write this... Great chapter and I love Emmet. I know you've said that this story lends itself to short chapters but, Jeez I wish they were longer. I feel as though I'm just getting into it when it ends. Can't wait for the next chapter.
Author's Response: At least I update often! Truly, the chapters need to be this way. They are snippets of the characters mind at one particular moment. Like a dream sequence. What happens in our heads takes mere seconds but feels like hours.
