Okay, you have to continue this, I just about laughed myself silly. I've always wanted to know what happened during Bella and Edward's first summer. Finding out about a hilarious bet is awesome!
Author's Response: Yes, I'm definitely continuing! Chapter two is almost ready, and chapter three has been drafted.
I'm really glad you enjoyed the first chapter, thank you for taking the time to review!

waaaaaaaaa please continue this story!! its very very intriguing!...
i have to admit i got a bit jealous for Bella when Edward left her to help Rosalie at the garage, it was a bit out of character for Edward to leave Bella alone, but still the story is really interesting! ^_^ i would so love to read more!!! cant wait for the next chapter
Author's Response: I'm definitely continuing with this, don't worry.
And yes, although she won't admit it to herself, Bella got a bit jealous herself when Edward did that. I'm glad you still enjoyed the story despite your problems with that part. I did have reasons for doing it. One - plot reasons. Two - I figured that by this point in their relationship Bella would be comfortable enough around the Cullen house to not be nervous to be left alone there, and wouldn't feel the need to follow Edward around. They've reached the stage where her status in the house has been 'upgraded' from guest to 'almost-family'.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review! I'm just waiting for the second chapter to come back from my beta.

I can't wait for the story. And, obviously, I'd love to know how the Cullens lost Edward in Disneyland, as well :)
Author's Response: It shouldn't be too long until the next chapter is fully revised.
...and Bella may yet hear the Disneyland anecdote as well.
Thanks for taking the time to review!

I'm so glad I got my act together and went to the Ithaca thread at the forums, I would have totally missed this gem, and that would be sad. It was funny and captivating and in canon and all the things I love in a good Twilight ff. Can't wait for the next chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for reviewing! I'm glad it came across as 'in-canon'. I've been trying hard to keep the humor securely bound by the rules of reality and characterization. It's nice to know I'm not failing completely.
Glad you enjoyed it, next chapter should be up soon.

I feel like bells does in the story! I can't wait to hear the rest!
Author's Response: Lol, yes, Bella is also eagerly anticipating the rest of the story.
Thank you for reviewing!

I swear to god I have seen a documentary on shark reproduction, but that's another matter. ;)
So, when I clicked on this story I had no idea how intelligent, and witty the humour really was! I was so suprised, I was expecting a poorly executed crackfic! because making incredibly funny situations that keep me smiling consistently and making me crack up over various occasions is so rare, and a difficult feat to capture!
In all honestly, I thought this was absolutely fantastic, and just so very well written in general. The cores of each character was captured superbly, where as in most humour it ends up turning massively OOC and ripping the ideal of the character, but im so excited to see where this is heading!
Looking forward to the new update!
Author's Response: Thank you, thank you so much for your review! You've hit on everything I've being trying to do (and not do) with this story. The humor genre is close to my heart, and I find it so rare in this fandom for it to be anything but crack. I hate it when people use the humor genre as an excuse not to work at having the fic make sense, even if the characters are stretched a bit.
I've really worked at making sure I don't tread over the line from relatively believable humor into ridiculous crack, so your comments are really appreciated.
Chapter two is undergoing some final revisions and then it will be submitted. It's Edward's POV, so it's a been different to write his dark, subtle sense of humor compared with my more openly witty Bella. I'm hoping it'll come off well, thus the extra revising I'm doing.
I'm glad you enjoyed the first part. I hope part two lives up to your expectations.
Thank you again for taking the time to review,

I'm so glad they got their act together and put your great story up! Funny girl. *HUGS* ^_^
Author's Response: Yes, and you get all the reflected glory for making sure everything makes sense and dealing with my self-conscious ways. Thank you!

LYSSIE!!!!!!!!!!
It's up! It didn't even take three weeks did it?
This stuff is fantastic. I love your humor. It's subtle and tongue in cheek and just wonderful. I love learning more about the Cullen's and seeing E/B interact without having stalker vampires chasing after them...this situation really brings out the best in their personalities.
Dude...I had a strong reaction to this:
“Boxers man, good to know.”
As everybody knows from BD, Edward TOTALLY goes commando. Of course, you have creative license and all =P
Awesome job. I love this, I do. <3
Author's Response: There could be stalking vampires...they could be hiding.
Was your strong reaction negative, postive or indifferent? (can you even have a strong indifferent reaction?)
He can't go commando all the time. It would be indecent. I refuse to consider BD canon anyway. Besides which, in Breaking Dawn Edward was all about having the sexy fun times with Bella. In this, those boxers are yet another device he can use to protect his virtue. At any rate, Alice probably brought them. I never said he actually wears them, did I?
Ha! Your argument has been thoroughly rebutted. You don't have a leg to stand on.
I love you, really.
Thank you for reviewing.

it's up, it's up, it's up, it's up! hooray!!! it's up! hehe
i know how agonizing that wait can't be hon, but people are going to jump all over this and go bat shit crazy for the satanic duo that is the Edward and Rose :)
- Katie
Author's Response: Whoo!
They aren't satanic, they are the axis of evil. Less evil rituals, more evil plans of doom!
Thank you for reviewing. Props for being first, as well.
(I love review response - it's another place for me to talk lots and no one can stop me!)
