I have a feeling that this is going to blow up in Edward's face. He is really living on borrowed time... I think waiting until New York will be too late, even if he is able to keep his deal. The longer he waits, the worse it will be for him. I do love however that they are starting to realize just how much they mean to each other and I desperately hope that they are able to get beyond this when it blows up, because eventually everything will come out. The truth always does!!!

I totally agree with you...the truth definitely comes out. No secret stays hidden forever, that's for sure. As for their emerging feelings, they're definitely developing fast in the new, secluded enviornment that Minnesota is providing for them. THis will definitely come to a head in the new chapter that I have finished! :)
As for the whether or not the truth comes out before she finds out...still to be determined. haha! I don't want to spoil it for ya.

OMG!!
Okay, first and foremost, this was an awesome chapter!
Now, for this whole when will she find out business. Part of me me hopes that Rob will tell her and they will try to work things out because he made the right decision. However, him waiting until they arrive in NYC is kinda pushing it because she's going to connect the dots (happy and sad behavior).
The other part of me thinking she is going to find out before NYC or that Nick is going to mention it before Rob does.
All I do know is that I'm on pins and needles waiting to find out what unfolds.

I completely agree with you! I hate it when a story takes that turn right out the gate from meeting to 'I love you' to sleeping with eachother all in the first chapter. Everything just doesn't seem real to me. Which is why CC has such a slow pace to it. There's a lot that these two need to work out, and hopping into bed together just seems out of character. I am so glad that you're enjoying the slow-build for them! That means so much to me! You have no idea! Thanks for the review!

You're not alone in your thoughts about Jackson. A lot of readers initially thought Jackson posed a threat. Definitely not, he's truly just a best friend, no hidden meanings or motives for him. I love that he can play shrink too! :) These two needed someone to turn to, someone to maybe get their heads thinking about the possibility of being in a relationship together.
