Whew...um, WOW. This is amazing. I'm sitting here with tears streaming down my cheeks after just reading these four chapters. And that's a HUGE compliment for any author. It's very difficult for an author to touch me so much as to bring me to tears. I think there's been ONE other time I've cried reading a book/story and it was when I read Stephanie Meyer's New Moon.
No one warned me Edward was going to leave Bella and I was so shocked/upset I remember I (a usually very mild tempered person) chucked that book across the room and refused to pick it back up for about a week. I think I went through a mini depression for a week, hahaha. I'm serious. :) (Can you tell I tend to put myself in the shoes of the main character?) It took my best friend swearing to me over and over I'd love the book and the book's ending to get myself over my" mini depressive state" & to get me to pick the book up again. And she was right...New Moon's totally my favorite book due to the ending.
I tell you that because I really mean it when I say it takes a fantastic author to make me cry over a fictional story. I've had to remove myself from the computer twice to get tissues and remind myself this isn't real and it's fiction...and no one's actually going through this! My heart hurts for this family! Oh my gosh...when you described the scene where the police came to tell them their parents died in the car accident, I swear I about lost it. Granted, I'm 23 and am a grown woman who has not lived with mom and dad since the day I left high school...but I still think my worst fear would be getting that phone call. My family's a close knit bunch. :)
Ok...I'm rambling and I really need to quit typing. I just needed to stop & tell you what a fantastically powerful story I think you have going on here. I really love it :) (If you couldn't tell) :) Have a great day :)

Another very well written chapter that breaks my heart... Poor Bella... Poor Rose ... man, I feel badly for all of them! I'm eager to find out what the others thought of Bella's breakdown and how things progress to the prologue!

i like how you have been describing the flashbacks, it almost feels like one is experiencing what happened to bella, the anguish that she is going through. i love the fierce protectiveness that rosalie has and how she has been a lifeline for bella

i hope that everything is ok with your family. i love the depth of emotions that protray with bella and how she rationalises the cutting, i like that you have bella realising that the cutting is a poison.

I think you're doing a really good job of painting the picture of how everyone feels, given the situation. I feel like I'm there, sitting in the middle of it, with Vampire-Jasper's empathy. Oof!

I just stumbled upon this story and I am soooo hooked. I love any stories that focus on Alice and Jasper so this is great. Throw in brother love from Em and Ed is a the cherry on top. I will be looking for the next chapter.

It may have been just fluff, but I think it was just what the story needed! Last chapter was so .. heavy, so it was good to have some breathing room! I really liked meeting Alice, Edward & Emmett before they showed up in Phoenix :-)
