Oh no, oh no! Bella, Bella, what are you thinking? You were worried it wasn't a date; he tells you its a date. You're not sure how he feels; he ties to kiss you and you freak? No, let the hot, sexy, intelligent, articulate, interesting man kiss you. And now the poor guy is feeling all awkward. Please let the comfort level return to the date? Please? Let it not end on an uncomfortable note so that they don't know how to go forward.
Author's Response: Frustrating, isn't she? lol. Fear can work so immobilising at times though that we miss a perfectly good thing just before our nose. I cannot promise you that the comfort level will return to the date... In fact I assure you it won't. Don't throw solid objects just yet....just wait and see ;)

BELIEVE me when I say I would rather sit on my balcony, basking in the sun and typing :P than have myself locked up in my room with curtains closed like some hermit and try to memorise 1200 pages :P So it's not like I'm not in pain either lol.

The surprise change in Bella and Edward's date was just perfect. I also think Bella's constant hesitation and doubt about Edward's interest in her was well done.
I don't really know what else to say except that I love what you've got so far and can't wait to see what's next!

well... I'm not sure what to think... cause I'm not sure what any of the characters are thinking.... I mean Bella's freaking out and instead of facing what freaks her out she's hiding and avoiding what could be something very good....
and Edward doesn't really know how to 'just be a guy' when a girl isn't falling at his feet begging... which I think is why he likes Bella but it's also something he's not sure how to deal with... she's not caught up in his fame.... and what not, she is self-sufficient and 'happy' in her own life and doesn't need him to 'help her along in anyway....
and Lilly is this cute little wild card in their date... and what the heck happened to everyone else?
Author's Response: I understand your frustration, but isn't that how it usually works? Running away from our problems is just so much easier than facing them head on. And that sometimes makes us miss out on really wonderful things. Don't give up on her just yet, though :). Besides Edward is intimidating the living daylights out of her.
Edward yes...I have to agree with you. For once he has to work for a girl's affection and he is not sure how. And it frustrates him to no end that he cant "read" her. So he's stumbling around.
Everyone else is in Canada/Montana. No worries. They will all be back in the next chapter.

You really have a talent for defining characters and I LOVE character driven stories. I love Mr. Henson... I could totally see him at the Nursing Home disco- and his love for his wife was so evident even in that brief exchange with Bella. She is wonderful too: intelligent, quirky and compassionate. One could see why Edward would easily fall in love with her. You have me hooked!

The exam notion lol...well that IS unfair. I've been pouting at the 1200 page collosus I have to memorise for ages...but c'est la vie... seems to be my Uni's motto.
As for the longer update than usual. Girl!!!! I post 20 pages every time... and you demand longer? *whipes sweat off forehead*
