just read through this tonight.....really am quite liking it.....interesting way to explain bella's comfort around vamps......and tie that in with saving her in italy.....

Wow, its great that she is finally able to talk to someone about everything that happened.

*is confused and thinking of Charlie's possible yuck moment* How was Izzy playing the connection to bella other than Godmother?  Family friend, or some how blood because in Charlie's head Charlise is Izzy's brother and Edward is his son,  Izzy is Bella's Aunt making Charlise her uncle and Edward her cousin--*grabs head dizzy* Whoa that took a lot of work. 

*snickers* This is too funny, I love all the dynamics of the relationships in this story!  Especially that of Charlise and Izzy's.

Also the "Orgasm on wheels line" priceless *snickers and pats Bella and Edward on the head* I feel for them. *laughs louder, but quiets quickly as they start glaring evilly*  *snicker*

Great writing, I can't wait to read next chapter!  *eager!*

Charlie and Renee met Isabel and Alex right after they were married and became very close friends so naturally when they needed godparents, they chose Alex and Izzy. Bella called her 'Aunt' because she was practically family. I myself had a baby-sitter for close to 10 years that I called 'Mom' and then her name, because she took care of me from the time I was a few weeks old until I didn't need a baby-sitter anymore. I wanted Bella and Izzy to have the really close connection since Bella always felt like she took care of Renee. I wanted someone to take care of her, someone she could call family. But in the eyes of Charlie, there's no blood connection between Izzy and Bella, just a very close family friend. So the only thing Charlie feels wierd about is the fact that Izzy never told Charlie Edward was her "nephew".

Now for the whole 'things you never want to hear out of a parental figure's mouth' - trust me. I'm still scared from the Christmas where I was 13 and my cousins and I had to sit around listening to my grandmother to tell everyone to make sure they 'pull the rubers down nice and tight' on these candle things she bought everyone. Over 10 years later, it still haunts me.
