Such a lovely chapter! I really enjoyed how Edward had such difficulty focusing past his own desires for Bella, it was nice to see that. The bit about how Bella brings surprise into Edward's life was especially good, I really liked that. It added a bit of depth that I had never thought about really. I've always felt that Bella has a way of distracting Edward just as much as he does to her - it is more elevated because she's a vampire now, too, and he doesn't need to control his desires so much anymore in order to protect her.
And I'm glad you liked the bit about Bella's way of surprising him. I hope you'll check out the next chapter!

Perfect Edward and as eloquent as the original! I found myself grinning like a loon and all misty eyed just as I did when reading the original! Really felt his joy in her transformation as well as his astonishment.

What a wonderfully ambitious undertaking! I think most diehard twilighters wish we could have all the books from Edwards perspective, and the little teaser that we were granted withy midnight sun only made me hunger for more.

I completely agree - it would be amazing to read the entire saga from Edward's point of view. "Midnight Sun" is so incredible, and it is what gave me that final push to write the first chapter for "Metamorphosis".

Edward's point of view is by far the hardest to write. You did a very good job in letting us glimpse into what he was thinking. A little more detail is going to be needed for the next couple of chapters to work, but a great start.

It is very difficult to write from Edward's perspective. At first I was very intimidated, because I love him so much, and many others do too... I wanted to do him justice. So, it is my hope that I can accomplish just that through my writing.

Wow...can I just say wow? So far, Blondie has been the only EPOV that I found to be amazingly accurate and true to his nature...until now. You are just as amazing and I enjoy your retelling of Breaking Dawn just as much as I looove Blondie's retelling of New Moon. You do wonderful work and you have the entire Cullen clan down perfectly. I completely appreciate how loyal you are to the dialogue and happenings of Breaking Dawn. Author's Response: Yes, I'll be continuing this story. My plan is to write all of Book Three from Edward's point of view.
I'm glad that you like it, and that you feel everyone is in character. More than anything, I want to portray all the characters as accurately as possible, because I love them just as much as any other "Twilight" fan.

Edward is so complex, and I adore him, so it can be a little daunting to write from his point of view. But I can't stop now – I enjoy it way, WAY too much. All I really want to accomplish with this story is to present a different side to "Breaking Dawn". If I can do that, then I will consider it all worth the effort.
