Your story has hypnotised me similarly to Twilight itself. Kudos to you for writing such a spectacular version from Edwards perspective. Can't wait for another chapter. I would love you to write the last scene in Breaking Dawn because it would be interesting to see your take on Edwards thoughts when he 'hears' Bella for the first time.

Beautifully done once again! I really loved the extra dialogue about the pregnancy. I definately always thought that it must have happened at some point, and your take on it was very fascinating and true to character. I also enjoy the little flashbacks Edward has. You have a knack of picking scenes that I always wanted to know from Edward's POV. Of course my only mild criticism is that I wish it was little more R and less PG...but I love and appreciate so much more how perfect you stay in canon. PLEASE keep going...I can't wait to read more!

I think, in my mind, I wanted Edward to apologize for his initial reaction to Bella's pregnancy, and that's why I wrote that whole conversation. The flashbacks are a lot of fun, too. Actually, there are a TON of scenes throughout the series that I would love to write from his perspective, but those will have to wait until "Metamorphosis" is finished.
As for their intimacy... I just wanted to keep it on the lighter side so that more people could enjoy it, and truthfully, this chapter was my first really serious attempt at the more 'physical' aspects of romance. I think that I've improved with that, so I hope that you will keep reading - because there's a chapter coming up later (Chapter 11, actually) that is my absolute favorite thus far, and I think you'll like it.
So stay tuned! :)

I loved every chapter but this was my fav. The extra dialogue added, gave depth to the conversation that I found was lacking in the original. Thanks a million. Haha, actually I can relate to the "Alice in Wonderland" joke, its a fav story of mine as well but none of my friends like it in particular so i'll definitely be checking out your other story for that.

I do really appreciate the apology from Edward. It was a very nice touch and something I wish had happened in the book. It bothers me a bit how high-handed Edward is with Bella, making decisions left and right for her. I don't like getting all preachy but in particular it's just not something that I think is a good thing to teach to teenage girls, who are the main intended audience of these books. But, off the soapbox.
I liked the vision that Alice had of Edward taking off with Bella like that. That was funny! I could just picture Alice hopping up and down in fury, yelling "Come baaaaaaack...".

I completely agree with you about Edward's apology, which is the main reason why I wrote it for this chapter. He is very high-handed with Bella, but I think it is because he is so overly protective by nature and he is still trying to get a handle on the fact that SHE could very well protect HIM at some point.
Alice is so much fun to write and to imagine her different reactions to situations. I'm glad you enjoyed that little hint of a possible future she saw on their way to the cottage.

As always, not dissapointed in the least! I personally wouldn't mind if you went past the teen rating but I'd like whatever version/rating you chose to stay with. Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorite books as well. There are so many favorite quotes, but on my top three is "Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop"

I believe you have captured Stephenie's vision of Edwards love, lust, and devotion. I do very much enjoy reading from points of view other than Bella's. I feel that that may be the one weakness (not a large one, though) in Stephenie's books; is that through the whole saga we mostly hear from only Bella. It's insightful and entertaining to know what is going through everyone else's head as well and adds so much more to the stories.

It's true that we, as readers, only receive one side of the whole story from Bella's perspective. Writing from Edward's point of view, however, is sometimes overwhelming. I feel that he sees and hears so much... it's a wonder he is able to keep track of it all. But I guess having a superior vampire mind helps in that aspect. :)
