Yay I loved your first paragraph! Bella felt annoyed with Jacob :) my favorite part lol! (sorry I'm not exactly a Jacob fan lol)
I love that Jacob and Edward's part is like reversed in this story! She is still meant to be with Edward, but yet she thinks she's supposed to be with Jacob!

just discovered this story thru the TLYDF interview - and caught up within two days. Thank you, it's very well done - i love the "sort of" canon part. You have a brilliant arrangement utilizing most of the canon components. the J/B/E triangle definitely more believable this way than canon (not much of a triangle in canon to be honest... Bella was obviously too biased). Bella's reactions to finding out re the supernatural is much more believable here too. Darker but the sexual tension is better explored here.
One thing I don't quite get though (maybe because i've read this thru too quickly?) - what exactly is Edward after at this point...? He's pretty much confessed that he loves Bella, and on the brim of telling her he wants her for eternity (from the swing speech about vampire mating). Bella still has doubts that he is in for the long haul... but surely Edward can see that as the source of her hesitation?? and Bella has pretty much told him that she's simply afraid that he will leave again, yet Edward doesn't say anything to negate that fear when she voices it... So he just wants to be in her life now but still not sure about asking to stick around as her other half?? I still get the feeling that although he has admitted to himself that he is irreversibly in love with her, and that he wants to be in her world, yet he is still at the stage where he is still afraid of involving her too much in his world?! So he's "half in" now, not fully in?
um, you mentioned in a previous A/N that you might do this story in EPOV one day, that would be great!!!! I'll look forward to that more than i look forward to Midnight Sun.
Congrats on your wedding (?! today??) - and enjoy yourselves on the honeymoon but please do update as soon as you settle into your new married life :-)

Wonderful! I read through the whole thing yesterday. Embarrasingly, my poor family had to eat Ramen and turkey sandwiches because I was so wrapped up. You took the one theme that I didn't get enough of from Stephanie Meyer, the sexual tension and back and forth between Bella and Edward, and made it into a story. I can't wait for the next update!

Jake wanted me too much, so he’d lost his temper and physically torn me to literal shreds; Edward didn’t want me enough—at all—and mutilated the optimism from my already cynical heart. You have the soul of a poet!
I love that Edward didn't leave in your story because it allows for so many stolen glances and awkward situations while they try to avoid each other. The pace is perfect - Perfect!!
