This is one of the best fanfics I have ever read. It's absolutely beautiful and your descriptions of Evelyn's feelings are so precise and emotional, they really made me identify with her. Thank you for this amazing story.

It brought tears to my eyes.  Very touching and sweet.  Please write more!

This was really good and incredibly sad. As much as Edward was mature and grown up in Twilight he was still seventeen when he died. It's sad.

I think her reaction was perfect. If my best friend died right now I would pray and bargain and cry and when they actually did die, I would be beyond tears.

The reaction was very realistic. Great Job on the first fanfic!

Author's Response:

I'm glad you enjoyed the fic, na. I think about that too, how he was still a kid in todays eyes when he died.

I really loved it all the little details about presents and cookies and cake really fit well in the time period. I would have like more dialoug between the two of them though. =]

-S

Author's Response:

I'm glad you enjoyed the detail sigh_for_sigh. I enjoyed doing the research just as much, I'm sure. I purposely avoided dialoug, mostly because it isn't my strong suit. How I think and how I write doesn't lend itself to dialoug well, however, I am working on it! Hopefully, by the next go around there will be much more of it.

Beautifully written!

Author's Response:

Thank you, KerriDia, for the kind words!

I liked it. A young women first love. Edward's passion for books and music and I liked "I gave him a book on the various habitats of mountain lions, his favorite animal." Mountain lions still being his favorite animal but in a new way.  I also liked "Then there was Edward on that last night. Forever staying in my mind at seventeen. Young. Handsome. Perfect. He would never grow old to me, never suffer the afflictions of age, never lose the sparkle in his green eyes or the shine from his copper hair." How true that would be except for the green eyes :) Good job!

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked it Ms. Black. The last part that you mentioned is my favorite too. I wrote it out of how I felt about about someone and it turned out to be perfect for Edward when I looked back and saw what I had written... cept for the green eyes ;)

That was beautiful! I love really good one-shots, they're so hard to find.

Author's Response:

I'm honored that you consider my one shot to be in that hard to find category of really good one shots. Thanks for reviewing!

What a wonderful, sweet story!  It's one of the first pre-vampire Edward stories that I've felt really showed his personality and character well.  Thanks!

Author's Response:

I'm glad that you felt this story captured the pre-vampire life of the Edward we have come to love, Stellarose. I'm very interested in the characters lives before the saga picks up, and it sounds as if you are too. Don't you wonder what kind of lives they led? Thank you for taking the time to leave a review!

This was such a beautiful story.  My heart broke with her.

Author's Response:

::Gives annalia2000 a tube of superglue to unbreak her heart:: I am very glad that you found the story to be beautiful and evoked emotion in you. That is a great complement to be able to do that.

I reviewed on ff.net but I thought it'd be only fair to review on here too...

Ah-MAZING! Your style of writing is fantastic.

Look forward to more stories from you in the future!

You're buddy,

Author's Response:

Thanks for the complements, Mystic. And I appreciate you reviewing twice :)

Poor Evie. The way you detailed their relationship is perfectly lovely, and the sheer detail in the story itself! I loved the bit about Russia switching to the Gregorian calendar and the Case of the Missing Two Weeks.

Author's Response:

Thank you, lovelikethemovies. When I was researching dates, I found the whole bit about Russia switching calendar systems. I'm like Mrs. Masen and Evie... I want to know where those two weeks went too!
