Author's Response: I listened to "The Promise" on repeat while writing this chapter. I needed my inspriation to get it just right.
Bella will be alone for a while. No secret stash of vampire. It will be OK, though...you'll see.

Author's Response: Everyone's wonderful comments here has inspired the start of a sequel. I have just started a new story recently, so I think I might jump into it after I am done with this one. I was thinking Bella's transformation from her perspective, since this story was all about Edward's transformation.

Author's Response: I think I will be doing the sequel after my next story. Maybe the prequel in the future. I will have to be in a sassy mood for that one. ;-) I don't know if I am skilled enough with the lemon writing to do the Incubus years. Might have to call upon the sage of the Smut Pack. LOL!

Okay. I'm not thrilled with the ending (probably mostly because I wanted more) but I didn't write this story and I'm not a writer. It must be especially difficult to end a "Twilight" story because the freakin' characters are eternal! What are you supposed to do?
Anyway, that being said, your story is great and keep on writing. I will looking for your work and thank you for sharing.

Author's Response: The fact that they are immortal is a problem, because their stories are endless. So, I like to approach them in chapters of their lives. Incubus is all about Edward and his transformation from incubus to devotedly in love. When/if I do a continuation of this story, it will most likely be Bella and her transformation.
I just submitted the first chapter of my next story. Hopefully it will be up soon!

Author's Response: I am sorry I left it where I did for you, but I hope I wrapped it up enough. When I wrote it Nov-Jan, I just ran out of steam on the story, and couldn't see where it was going anymore. I preferred at the time to wrap it up, and leave it open for the future, than to keep writing and it not be good.
I am going to submit the first chapter of my next story here sometime today (I hope). We'll see how long it takes before the fine ladies of Twilighted give me the green light. :-)

I can understand running out of steam with the story--it's too bad, because I think you had something ineresting going when Aro showed up, but if you're not feelng it anymore, I can see how it would be really hard to continue a story. I just hope you don't run out of steam with your other story over on ff! I would rather see that story developed as opposed to a prequel or sequel to this story.
Author's Response: It felt like the right thing at the time when I finished this story in January. Posting it here, has re-sparked my passion for this story. I just want to have something good for them before I continue it.
I am far from running out of steam with Diseased Affair! I just got rolling! I am going to post the first chapter of it here today. Hopefully I can get it rolling over here as well!

Author's Response: The door is wide open. I did that purposefully, because when I was in the thick of it, I LOVED writing this story, and these characters. I felt I had run out of things to say, because this story was really about Edward's transformation from Incubus to devoted man. That was done. There is a lot more to Bella's tale to be told now!
I think I will work on that when I am done with my current project.

Author's Response: I tried not to completely slam on the brakes on this story, but I felt this story was told. This was about Edward's transformation, and it was done. The Incubus found his mate, and is settled and in love.

Author's Response: I am thinking the continuation of this story will be from Bella's perspective. This story was about Edward's transformation from Incubus to dedicated man. I think the next will be about Bella's transformation into what she is going to be. What that is...time will tell.

Author's Response: This story was totally about Edward's transformation. I felt like it was complete. He has found his mate, and she has committed to him for eternity. If their stories continue, I think it will be from Bella's perspective and will continue the theme of transformations.
