At some point I hope to update here as well. Author's Response: While Twilighted remains at a nonupdate, the story has been continuing on ff.net. At some point I will be posting more here, until then here is the link for more of the story. It is now up to 35 chapters. I hope you will follow it there as well.

Ah, happy birthday! Well, that was action packed! I felt all the awful anguish that Bella felt, with no hope in sight, so just....ugh! I can't wait to see how Jasper deals with an injured, unconscious, bleeding Bella!

Ow! Bella's despair is almost physically painful to read! Blaming herself for Jasper and Alice's break-up when she was only a tiny part of it... I can only hope she survives the jump and lets Jasper help her. I like how Jazz leapt after her, caught her, and turned so that he took the brunt of the fall. But will Bella survive as a human or a vampire?
And from the previous chapter (I'm a little behind on my reading and read the last two at once). Interesting comparison: Esme's past to what Edward did to Bella. Apt, too; no matter what good he thought he was doing, telling Bella what he did before leaving her in the woods amounts to abuse. Not physically, but still abuse, breaking her heart as Esme's was before she died.
One question... how did Charlie know the Cullens were vampires? Janine had an encounter with one in her past... did Charlie? Or did Billy tell him?
