I was just thinking of this fic the other day and I'm so happy that you updated. :) I hope that they are able to stay together after everything gets resolved. I'm getting very curious as to what jake is up to.

Jake does seem a little a suspicious. I'm curious about what he's hiding. The file is definitely important in solving this mystery and now the Volturi are involved. Great chapter! I was so excited to see this story update.

You had better tie a rope around that muse and lock her up tight! I found your story this afternoon and literally devoured it in one sitting. I'm totally hooked and begging for more! I love everything about this story from the plot to the characters and can't wait to see where you are taking it. i'm not real good at being patient so I hope you'll take pity on me and update soon.:P

Great chapter. I'm glad Bella went back to her old home and faced some of those bad memories. Hope Edward and Jasper can crack the code quickly and figure out what got Charlie and Renee killed. Can't wait to read more. Please update soon.
I've never forgotten my mum's birthday and suprise shouldn't be just one colour. That would be ruining the suprise :)
Author's Response: I can't say surprise would be any one color either, and maybe it's never the same color twice. Depends on the surprise, yes? lol.
I'll try my best to update as soon as I can, but RL is going to be killer soon, so it all depends. I'm pushing to get something done during the holidays. No guarantees. :D

You're back! Long time no seen so thanks for the update.
So the plot took a leap forward with Bella finding the file. I'm a great fan of Tolkien myself, but I've not heard about that book before, sounds interesting. (In my opinion The Two Towers and The Return of the King are the two best movies ever made, and Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn makes me droole every time, lol!) It will be interesting to see Edward and Bella decode Charlie's notes.
And why do I have the feeling that Pete isn't quite the good guy he seems to be...

Yeah, I became a giant nerd when the movies came out and read the books and managed to find that book about the languages he used and made up for the stories, so I used a bit of that in the story. We'll see what B/E decode. :) Aragorn was pretty tasty looking in the movies. ;)

That would be awful to have to deal with 2 bodyguards invading your privacy. Here you are used to living all alone (and preferably so) and all of a sudden you have people move in your home and one of them is attached at the hip.

Great chapter. Glad Bella met Alice and I liked the E/B interaction. What's in the file?
When I was little, my dad worked in real estate and accomodation so we spent our weekends driving all over the country, from state to state, checking out potential homes and places to build hotels. The car rides were always fun and some of the places we went were really beautiful tourist locations.
