I liked it. Very sweet and PROTECTIVE of him. I never thought of him as a stalker or a pedophile. Just a over protective Edward. Can't wait to read the rest.
Author's Response: Thank you, Snowball Sniper. I'm glad that you didn't think him a stalker or pedophile. People seem to be on one side of the fence or another. I was so careful in writing this first chapter to portray it in a non-creepy way. But some people are still freaked out about it. Thanks for the kind review.

Oh, you are evil to the core!! That was very sweet at the beginning--Edward was really thoughtful to realize how Charlie's thoughts would help Bella feel better, and it's good to know that Charlie's coming around. I love that Bella was able to beat the Cullens at poker! And I hope she says "yes" immediately--looking forward to more!

Great Chapter! Hopefully Bella will ease up a bit on the whole "money" thing. That being said, I do understand her reactions. I get the impression that she still feels a bit like an outsider with the Cullens, she doesn't feel quite like part of the family just yet. I maybe be wrong here, that's just what I am getting from her.
This is one of my favorite stories, I can't wait for more. =)
