Silly Edward, Bella was never with him because he could protect her, or because he is strong, fast or can communicate without talking. She is with him inspite of those things and the deep love she has for him. I knew once the blood she had drunk faded from her that her eyes would return to gold and she wouldn't have the super powers

Ok this chapter had me asking ?'s that I hadn't thought of before, which means your a good writer to make the reader forget about obvious things, such as I had to remind myself that you never said they were engaged so the natural confusion of Bella having Edwards room as her own would be normal. Also, because your Bella is not acting like a normal vampire I was thinking when they kissed he still would not make love to her before she is chnaged, but then I remembered that she was already changed. duh. Also why didn't Carlisle metion that due to Bella's death or "missing" status that family was taking Edward & Alice away for them to grieve? Apparently Rose is not into the bonding thing still. I'm glad Bella has some powers now, but what is wrong with her eyes? and I like that Bella can not be heard by anyone else, so for them to be able to hear her is alittle dishearting, but hopefully she has the ability to turn it off when she wants to.

Who wants a normal Bella anyway. Man Victoria is reeking havoc. If crazy Paul couldn't take her, then she is a handful. I understand everyone is kinda walking on eggshells about Bella's weirdness, but I was wondering how Jasper was reacting to her not being thirsty.
