Better than SM's version, in my opinion. This is what she might have written if it were for adults rather than kids. It's so much more interesting to add this kink to it. Of course James is this sadistic; he would have realized that torturing and raping, then killing Bella would have been the way to piss Edward off the most. Besides, the added action delays things and gives Edward time to get there.

The crueler side of James is one I wish that there was more of in the book - this is really well-done, however sad and disturbing.

This is very well written; I can see James performing this kind of degrading act upon Bella before imparting as much pain as possible on both her and Edward.

That was so brutal, but had Stephenie Meyer's books been adult level, definitely what I would have expected... I'd say good job, but that was so sadistic and heart wrenching, that those seem a poor choice of words. Well written, would love to see more from you!
