Now this is the Edward that I know and love.  Especially since he wasn't able to completely stop James, he's going to want to be super overprotective of Bella in any way he can.  He just loves her so much.

May I ask how much longer I can expect this story to go?  I'd love for you to take it all the way through Bella's healing, however long that might be... and maybe through her next birthday with Jasper?

I'm actually still trying to figure out where exactly I'm going with this.  Everytime I sit down to write, I just kind of let it flow without planning too far ahead.  I'll try to get you a more definitive answer soon, but for now, suggestions are welcome!  Thanks for the review.

Oh goodness.  I can't believe I missed this update when you first put it out - this chapter is another perfect one - I'm proud of Charlie stepping up and acting like a Dad... and Renee is more parental than her usual self too.

Poor Edward, bashing himself for this.

Oh my this is the Edward I know.  The masochistic, self-inflicting torturere of his own soul.  Dont' do it!  It'll only make it worse.

I felt so sad for him when I realised he was hearing what everyone around him was thinking.  Can you imagine how horrible that must have been?  To hear what they thought about him, being a monster when all along he has been the hero... gah!  Awful!

This was such a horrible thing to read.  How awful that must have been for Edward, that drive must have seemed endless.

Another well written chapter.

Very good chapter.  I breathed a huge sigh of relief when Edward decided to stay, that Bella would be better off if he watched over her more carefully.  I can't imagine her pain if Edward decided now was the proper time to leave, that she would be safe.  Because we all know that she would not have been safe. 

I actually agree with Edward watching the video.  I feel that he needs to see the video to truly "experience" what Bella went through and therefore be able to better help her to heal.  I do wonder how he will handle his anger though when he is done watching. 

I look forward to the next chapter.

Oh, thank God, leaving would have been so cowardly, especially given the sexual nature of her assault, Bella would have likely assumed that now that she was somewhat 'despoiled' that he didn't want her.  Painful to think of him watch the video, but knew that he would.

Poor Edward being blamed for James' sick attack...
