This story is unlike any other I have read. I am pretty new to all things Twilight so this story is fascinating and I love your take on what happened before the books started. Have not been a Rosalie fan before but your fic adds depth and warmth to her. Thank you and I hope you do have time to concluse it.

Nope. Never saw that coming at all. I know Rose is overwhelmed with newborn emotions, but how could anyone not appreciate all that Edward is doing for her? It's perfectly logical, and you wrote it beautifully.

I love seeing how Rosalie ticks. It's so easy for some to write her as one-dimensional and mean, but you provide insight into her character.

Author's Response: Hi there! Thank you so much for reading and taking the time to comment. I know Roseward isn't everyone's cup of tea, so I always love to hear people's thoughts on my little fic :)
Rosalie is giddy because she avenged herself against the men who raped, beat, and left her for dead. Though I do think her actions will catch up with her (emotionally), Edward's murders weren't personal; he wasn't doing it to soothe her soul. Yes, he only fed on evil men, but he still drank their blood, which for him came with a side order of guilt, I think. But we shall see!
Also, and I might need to make this clearer in the summary, this story is not to be read as a prequel to SM's canon. It is based on the parameters of canon (the time, circumstances, and details of Ed and Rose's life in 1933), but it is VERY DIFFERENT than what SM imagined for Roseward's past/backstory. I just think Ed and Rose had so much in common (beyond their beauty, their interest in medicine, cars, and music), and with just the two of them with Carl/Esme, I think it's possible that in an Alternate Universe, they might have had a different past.
But they'll still end up with Emmett and Bella bc that's as it should be... I just thought it would be fun to explore a completely different history for them. And I hope you continue to read and enjoy it as it unfolds :) :)

I am beginning to enjoy the story. I admit I had my doubts at first, but I find that I am looking forward to these updates almost as much as I enjoy the updates for Serenity's Prayer.
Author's Response: Wow, thank you!! I'm so glad you let it grow on you. This story starts slowly and with good reason, but it will pay dividends as it unfolds. Roseward wouldn't have it any other way.
I'm about to send another chapter for both fics to my Beta, so look for an update early next week or so :) :) :)
