This chapter was short but oh so sweet. Charlie is amazing! Edward's interaction with Lizzie just makes me melt. Can't wait to read what happens next.

This was a great chapter. It covered just the right amount of detail and nottoo much. I think that Charlie will have a hard time with then takong Lizzy away but know that this is what is best for them all.

I just loved this chapter. My favorite part is when Edward was holding the baby. I had tears because I could just picture this happening.

Sniffle taht was just wow and sniffle the sweetest thing ever sniffle.. My eyes glazed over when we started to read from Edwards perspective amazingly perfect sniffle lol

Nothing but what I've come to expect from Charlie Swan, one of the really good guys! I would have been surprised if he didn't take the time to think all this through. As for Edward taking one good look at Lizzie, what else is he going to do, but fall in love? Like mother, like daughter!

That was a sweet chapter, but in order to have the happily ever after, you'll need to make the epilogue about eighteen to twenty years later. :-)

I'm normally quite specific in my reviews, but I find I have very little to say about this chapter. It was nice, I found myself smiling at the end, happy for all involved. Nice moment in thier lives.
The only mar in an otherwise pleasant chapter was a feeling of sorrow in the back of my mind, because they are moving a few states away and I feel bad for what that means for Charlie. This is much better then d her issappearing and faking her death; but sad nonetheless.
Still as I said, It was in the back of my head and mostly I ended this chapter smiling, feeling happy for all of them, including Charlie's acceptance and the healing that provided both him and Bella. Well done.

I can see why Bella would be worried. Charlie was just doing his job protecting his granddaughter from a possible threat.
As for Elizabeth's eyes, is there something special about her? All babies are born with blue eyes then eventually change. Even all my kids' blue eyes changed to a slightly lighter blue.
Author's Response: Thank you. :) No, nothing special about her. Just something I read online that said it's rare, but occasionally a baby will be born with a color other than blue. :) So I just ran with it. hehe

I love this story, although I always did find it strange in BD that Charlie accepted everything so readily - I'm glad that your Charlie needs a bit more time to process things. Looking forward to the next chapter :0)

Well thank god that Edward could read some of Charlie's thoughts and was able to keep the situation calm. I mean, if I was Charlie, and had figured out that the Cullens were vampires, I would have assumed the same as him, though assuming is usually bad lol, and thought that Edward had done this to my little girl. Glad that Edward and Bella cleared that up right away. Charlie seems a little leary, which should be expected, but he seems to be handling it better than I thought Glad that the entire family is willing to share their stories, or have Edward share them, so now they can put their past behind them, and become a closer family. Hell, I would assume Carlisle and Esme would like to be grandparents too, so it would make sense to make their family closer. Obviously Charlie is still protective over Lizzie, but he still loves his daughter. Just needs a little time to process everything. Such an emotion filled story, and even though there has been so much sadness at one point, things are finally starting to move in a wonderfully positive direction. It is as if I can see the sun on the horizon Great things to come! Love the story! Keep up the great work!! xoxo

Unbelievable. Poor Charlie. Through your words we can see that he has aged so much, and now, he is just plain confused. Wondering why Jake is showing him this now, and wondering now...that Bella is a vampire. Wow. Your story is capable of giving us a clear visual of the stress and how they are trying to stay calm, well except Emmett who is knocking down trees, lol. Such a great story and is unfolding precisely as it should, with care for each of the characters well being. Love it, and can't wait, so I am reading on!!

First, that explination chapter was fine. I think it was true to the characters as portrayed here. Good job, I enjoyed it.
Second, I had a rather violent emotional reaction to Charlies censer, sending Bella away as soon as Lizzie woke up. Charlie is Lizzie's grandfather, he loves her and has been taking care of her, which is fine. As a point of fact though, she does not belong to him. There is no law relating to vampiric custody rights in this situation, so there is no law to fall back on. To that end, he had no right to bar her from her daughter at all.
Charlie is Lizzie's guardian in Bella's absence, nothing more. Had he pulled that shit with me I'd have set him straight, my father or not. Even if we agreed with him, he oversteped himself badly. He could ask Bella, beg, bargan, cajol, or plead with her to leave Lizzie be for now; but to tell her no, to forbide her... no way. I'm sorry, that is HER kid, not his. All things considered, she has more then earned the right for him to respect that. He had no right at all to tell her no, none.
