yes, life is short,
but to just get past your boyfriend cheating on you,
to actually have caught him in the act, no matter how much
time has passed,
then to want some magical moment with him again....
idk,
i don't feel he has suffered enough,
he hasn't paid for it enough...
at least not enough for bella to have actually seen him suffer...

Usually, I'm perfectly comfortable criticizing fan fiction in general, it's often trashy, overdone, or otherwise annoying. However, every so often, I come across a story like yours and am thankful that this website and fan fiction as a whole exist to let it be heard.Thank you.

i know its been awhile sense you finished but I started reading this beautiful, heartbreaking story and then my grandfather passed and emotionally I couldn't handle reading it. so i saved the emails till I was ready. so almost a year later from when I stopped I'm finally read the rest of the story. I know I would have been ready sooner if six months to the day from my grandfather's passing, I lost my grandma. This story is so beautiful but made me cry like crazy because it reminded me of all the people I love and have lost. in the last 2 1/2 years, my grandparents last year make the total loss six wonderful people that I loved dearly and 2 others that I knew but not well because distance made it hard to have that opportunity. none of them died from cancer but two died way too young. your story made me think of all of them, longing to see them again, knowing that I can't but most importantly that they are watching over me and my family. I loved the sweet ending and it had me crying too, it wasn't just the pain and loss but the sweet times and the love. So keep writing because you do a fantastic job and I plan to read your other work now.

Honestly, this was such a beautiful story it brought tears to my eyes...along with the laughter at times. It was difficult for me reading the eulogy...in fact I had to stop reading, calm myself down and try again three times before I was able to finish. Never have I read something so meaningful, hopeful and true to life as this story.
It was definitely a story that needed to be told. I am so happy that you shared this with us, virtual strangers. I feel that I was able to move past my own issues in my own life, learning how to live again from this story.
Thank you so much for giving us this gift. And for teaching me to keep dancing. :)

I work in a pharmacy and we are kind of specialized on breast cancer therapy. One time, I had bring something to my boss and I heard laughter. I investigated. In the next room where a whole lot of women waiting for their treatments, but if you didn´t know it, you could think you where in a spa. Because the atmosphere was unbelieveably light and happy. One of them showed around the pictures from her latest holiday, another one´s daughter had just given her a grandchild and she showed those pictures. It sounds funny, but I loved it. Because to me, it meant that there was hope. Yes, they had cancer, yes, those treatments are not easy, but there´s still hope and your family and friends. And that is what counts!
Great story so far.

I just finished reading this story and want to thank you for this gift. This story was a gift to me because I recently lost my sister and I cried as I read this story because I remembered growing up together and sharing everything, the marriages, buying homes, the children then the illness. She fought bravely I called her my "Warrior" because she never gave up, I miss her so and this story made me laugh, made me cry and gave me some peace and for that I thank you. I pray that you stay well and live a long and happy life. God Bless You.

I don't think I have ever cried so hard while reading a story. Thank you for sharing their journey. We all need Angela's in our lives and we need to be an Angela for someone. You truly know how to develop characters that are beliveable. Perhaps because a portion of this was your story too. Regardless, you tell a story very well. Thank you!
Author's Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. It means a lot.

Great story. I'm not sure if I should say I 'enjoyed' it, because at some moments I wasn't really enjoying what I read... but you wrote it beautifully and you taught me a thing or two. I had seen your story before when I was looking for newly finished stories to read, but I had kind of ignored it... the topic is so heavy, I wasn't sure how I would feel about it. My family has been touched by it several times and nobody can or wants to talk about it, so it's a bit of a thing. It's good to read this example of how it could be.
I'm happy you're okay! Thanks for sharing this with us! XOXO
Author's Response: Hi Chanti. I set out to write a story that was real so I understand your reluctance to read it. Some of the story is hard to read - I understand that also... it might be too real for some. But, underneath the reality of cancer, there is so much more than just the pain; there is so much beauty to be found - like hope and love, learning what is important, and the remarkable strength of the human spirit. I hope I conveyed that.
Thank you so much for giving this story a chance. I hope all is well with your family. As for me - I am still dancing!
