I love the fact that she has a chance to reconcile with Charlie. Jacob imprinting makes me happy! I hope you don't truly believe that there is no such thing as happy endings. i do believe in them and hope that you will end this story in a positive way! I love your story. Oh you would leave me hanging like that, lol!!!! I want you to know that I know you are probably exhausted from all the writing....but everything you do is greatly appriciated!!!!! I love this story so much and I think that Vicomte was wonderful!! I could just picture this entire chapter in my head. This story has so much talent poured into it!!! Great chapter! The whole story has been great! Killer cliffie though...come back with the end soon...I have a good feeling about Bella's chances in the fight but I hope nothing too bad happens while the demon in her is active before she meets up with Edward...on the edge of my seat here!

:( I don't know french. But I enjoyed the pace of the story leading up to the fight. and I loved the way Vicomte spoke english with his french accent. The boy dying was sad. I would have to kill him for that fact alone - children should be off limits vamp people.

noooooooo i think Bella should win! I mean she is so different. She's a newborn but has so much control, I wouldn't be surprised if she won! Holy hell woman! Could you have left me hanging at any more of a wicked point! Seriously! I need to know what happens! I LOVED this chapter, by far my favorite so far. I love seeing the different emotions bouncing around in Bella, her confusion, her fight with the demon, the demon awakening - OMG I love it. And the vicomte! As much as I hate to admit it he seems so delightful! But then again I'm in love with the time period he originated from so of course I would find him entertaining. I loved his manners and his little French phrases and quips - to funny. But poor Demetri for being forced to kill that boy...he's gonna hate that later.
Ahhh...I'm going to pretend to be mad at you now for leaving me hanging like that. But at least I know you'll update soon.

That is the most horrible cliffie EVER! You are a terrible terrible person Liz, hehe, but I still love you. I can understand how you are getting burnt out, if i was posting as fast and furious as you have for the past 15 weeks I would be exhausted too. The only reason i was able to post so many chapters right away was because I had had about 10 chapters written. I like the idea of giving yourself a slight break, only updating 2 times a week. I'd rather they continue to be good then try and rush them out and them get worse as you get tired. The Vicomte is a typical French ass. But I can see how he is fun to write. The children thing disturbs me, yuck! I look forward to Saturday's update. And I am so happy that there is another chapter now too, yay!

I think if the Vicomte was not such an egomaniacal evil maniac, I could like him quite a lot. I imagine you did have fun writing him. I had fun reading him. As always, the story is excellent and your french was charming. And love, wherever you post I will suivez toi. Wonderful stuff.

The Vicomte is wonderfully creepy.
Did Demetri ever get to finish tell Bella what the significance of a second is in a duel? Is Demetri right about the count being honorable and not cheating? In panic or near death, would he turn the entire room against Bella?
LOL... 4 years of French, and there were words and phrases I had never heard, so I had to go to babelfish to translate. That's when I realized that school doesn't teach you THOSE type of words! LOL. For a gentelman, the count has a nasty mouth.

Wow this chapter was pivital! I mean holy crow hard to explain.... I thought wow diffrent story Bellas going to actually die?? Then she turns around and bites his fingers off.

The passage relating Bella's upcoming struggles to a death sentence was incredible. It set quite a tone for the rest of the chapter, and also gave me serious goosebumps.
I'm delighted to hear that you've added another chapter! I can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoy reading this story! Though I'm incredibly anxious to know what you've got planned, I'm also sad to see this story draw to a close.
