Hope your daughter didn't laugh at you too much, and that you got a chuckle out of her posing with 'James'. Sounds as if you had a fun tour and really enjoyed yourselves. This chapter about prom was really nice and a lot more fun for Bella than she thought it would be. Of course, any time with Bella in his arms is a win for Edward.
Author's Response: My daughter laughed...a LOT...at us! Especially when we were perusing the older guestbooks at the cabin...and found the signatures of the HILLYWOOD show STARS!!! They had stayed there, too! THere was SQUEALING...lol
Glad you enjoyed my prom, Kathy!
Yes, anytime with Bella in his arms is a win for our Edward!

Sounds like a better prom than SM wrote
Author's Response: LOL...Well, SM inspired me!!! And the dancing in BD1 helped too!

Jasper waltzing with Bella would have been a sight. I bet they were all so handsome in their suits, of course Edward didn't pay any mind to their own clothing even if he did pay attention to what Bella wore.
Author's Response: I was inspired by the dancing scene in BD...it was lovely!
Thanks for reading, Sheeijan!

Good chapter. I'm envious of your plans to visit Forks area and see the BD midnight showing while there! Good for you!
Author's Response: Thanks, rubyred!
I actually waited until Saturday to see the movie...had a marathon at the cabin on Thursday...but four of our group DID see it at midnight...after watching the other movies in a marathon...
FORKS was a blast...hope you get to go sometime!

Great update! Poor Edward, having to eat all of that food. I'm glad Jacob isn't obsessing over Bella, and Edward doesn't hate Jacob.
You are sooo lucky going to Forks! Please write about how it was in your next author's note.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading, potterfan922...one reviewer was very glad we didn't see the lasagna AGAIN...lol
I will let you all know how the trip goes...I think I can even put pictures here at TWILIGHTED!

The dinner with the Blacks went fairly well, except for poor Edward having to actually eat food! It's a shame Billy wasn't the least bit grateful for Edward's insight on Jacob's phasing, but I understand. His prejudices get in the way, where Edward is concerned. As for you, you lucky woman! How cool to be in Forks and environs, for the Breaking Dawn screening! Have an absolutely wonderful time, and we'll see you when you can get back to us.
Author's Response: Dinner did go well, except for all that eating E had to do...gag...lol
Thank you...I'm really looking forward to our trip...my 20 y/o daughter is going with me...to laugh...!!!

You know, it's never occurred to me to be angry at Billy Black for being so irresponsible as to bring a boy about to phase into a giant wolf into Charlie's house. Yeah, that actually is pretty bad, now that I think about it. I guess he was so focused on Edward, even the health of his own son was pushed to the side. That's really sad, actually. And yeah, leaving it to just be a surprise really sucks on the guys. Never understood that one. I mean, I understand Sam since no one expected that at all, but once he was phased you'd think they'd be more proactive.
Poor Edward, having to eat lasagna. He is showing more patience than they deserve.
Author's Response: He really wasn't thinking, was he?
I'd think that they'd want the boys to KNOW...to make it easier on them.
Thanks for reading, Sheeijan!

I expect she's hiding the fact that Bella is going to be a vampire one day :)
Author's Response: That's one thing!

He's going to go nuts...which is why I think that Alice should tell BELLA first...lol

Nice to know that we won't have Bella running off to be with Jacob anytime soon. I am looking forward to the dinner - it should be very interesting. Thanks for the update.
Author's Response: Nope, no running off with the puppies!

Alice's vision of Bella must not be a very good one if she's witholding parts from Edward, and it's making Jasper nervous. Never a good sign! Other than that, things are somewhat improved betwen the Quileutes and the Cullens. It must have been humiliating to have one of their own break the treaty, even unknowingly.
Author's Response: Hi, Kathy!
It's an okay vision, but she's worried that Edward will OVER REACT...because he tends to...lol
Thanks for reading!

Hmmm, I guess if Edward really wants to know, he should start playing associative word games around Alice. Seems to trigger her thoughts!
Author's Response: LOL...that's a good idea!

Edward is so nosy. He is like a child when it comes to secrets, he just absolutely can't stand not knowing something. I can understand that he's concerned for Bella and all, but you'd think he would learn to trust Carlisle and Alice in particular. Now he's going to bend his brain trying to think of ways to get them to slip... I can't wait to see the dinner and whether he's going to have to teach Jacob a lesson in manners. Billy is going to have a conniption. That might be fun, simply because that will get Charlie involved and defending the Cullens.
Author's Response: LOL...he is NOSY!!!
I guess he's ALWAYS known EVERYTHING and this really does make him nuts...
Thanks for reading, sweetie!

Glad your back! Well, I do think Bella can handle things with Jacob, but if she breaks her hand.... And Alice's entry is very intriguing!
Author's Response: Glad to be back! I think Bella may use a baseball bat if she needs to smack him...!!!
Alice was fun!
Thanks for reading...and more this week!

I'm surprised Jacob hasn't already phased, being around so many vampires. That would give Billy something to worry about besides Bella and Edward It's not perfect by any means, but life is pretty good for them both right now. Charlie liking Edward, as well as the rest of the Cullens, sure doesn't hurt.
Author's Response: He's getting close, that's for sure!
Since Edward isn't RUNNING this time...Charlie isn't going to have to hate him...lol
Thanks for reading, Kathy! More to come this week...

Holy... That was a whopper of a teaser you put out there! Just saying. If that doesn't get people jumping on the bandwagon...
Jacob is a thorn in their sides. Annoying little idiot. Can he not understand she's not interested? Where is all this confidence coming from? He's still a virgin and all, you'd think he'd be more insecure at this age. I remember guys that age as being more unsure of themselves unless they were already having sex. Amazing how that changed their attitudes.
Author's Response: LOL...so you liked that? Alice...such a gem! I hope it does bring a bit of $$$ to the Texas Wildfire Relief fun!
Jacob is a pain...but Edward is watching...and he's going help Jake figure things out...lol
I think that some boys...until they hit about 16 are FULL of confidence...and they can talk to people...and then 16 hits and they clam up...seems that way in the boys my girls know!
Thanks for reading, sweetie!
More to come this week...

I have to say that I never had any love for those interfering wolves! Bella was always letting them come between her and Edward! So, I'm glad she told them where they stand and what they could do with their opinions! And I love that Edward wants to brawl with them! So, I'll bet Bella sleeps well tonight!
Author's Response: Ah, the puppies tend to bring out strong feelings!
I bet she DOES sleep well!
Thanks for reading, snowgood!

Part of Bella's appeal for Edward is the sense that she doesn't take much guff, from anyone. The girll stands up for herself, and anyone she cares for. Good thing she's a calming influence on Edward. We wouldn't want war between the Cullens and the Quileutes.
Author's Response: She is pretty feisty...lol...
And it is good that she calmed him down...if there had been BRUISES...it might have been WAR...
Thanks for reading, Kathy!
