you know i'm hooked on this story now...love it.. stalker..??? taps chin and thinks....no true love here, destiny and all that...Jasper is really strong - of all the Cullen's, in my humble opinon poor Jasper has the feelings from everyone especially Edward he has to deal with so what he feels is 5 times more powerful...

So they avoided the van, but are so far oblivious to Port Angeles... I think Bella sounded weird because the beach happened like in canon, and she already knows...

The accident with Tyler's van was avoided neatly, using common sense and vampire talents. It's cute that the family is helping Edward save Bella from having to turn down dance invitations. He should just go ask Bella to go with him to the meadow and to meet his family. I'm positive she suspects something after going to La Push, so Edward might as well 'fess up! I'm really liking this journal!

Fabulous solution. I can just imagine the excesses these vamps might have in keeping Bella safe. I imagine they will also be able to sort the rapists out before Bella wanders off too.
This way, there should be no need for Jacob to insinuate his big hairy arse into the mix either. Ha!!!

I just found your story, and my goodness I am really enjoying it. It's at turns lighthearted and so hopeful. My favorite funny line is from Emmett, when he turns to Jasper and says that newborn baby Bella is almost as tall as Alice. lol Rosalie really made me happy when she saw how utterly devastated Edward was from the la tua cantante vision. And their over the top tactics to keep Bella safe from careening vans was so sweet. Everyone is working together and it's just great to watch.
And I totally agree with you on the 7 to 3 odds fiasco. I mean, really? WTH? The only thing that I was able to come up with to explain the whole deal was that they were afraid to start the fight in front of Bella. But that's a pretty darn weak argument, I know. It was the only one that I could come up with though that didn't make them look like utter morons.

Yay! Definitely don't be in a hurry to mark this "complete!"
I am interested to see how this slightly different plotline would affect Bella's finding out that the Cullens are vampires. I do prefer the idea that she figures it out on her own; it makes her seem more intelligent. However, a conversation in which Edward has to say, "So, yeah. How do you feel about necrophilia? Do you have any strong objections to really rare meat?" would be pretty fun, too!
Another fun thing to do would be their first kiss. I can't even begin to imagine how gratifying that would be, especially knowing that Edward, being who he is, would totally be the type of guy to practice on a pillow beforehand!

Wonderful! I was hoping you wouldn't be able to resist continuing! The possibilities are so appealing. You have this story going in the direction it always should have, with a big dose of common sense. I've always thought that Edward would have considered Bella's feelings above anything else, and you have proved it in your writings. You go girl! I can't wait!

The meeting went as smoothly as could be. Edward's going to ask Bella on a date? Great! As long as it isn't a dance, I'm sure she'll accept. This scenario is better than SM's, just don't tell her! ( The daily updates are great, too!)

It makes sense that, knowing she was coming, Edward would take the precaution of hunting right before meeting Bella. After all, he's gone to all this trouble to not kill her, so it follows that he'd do the most important thing, too.

I'm liking this version of Rosalie, that she might not be so anti-Bella. Talk about forewarned is forearmed. Clever idea to have Jasper and Alice go to Phoenix for some of Bella's clothing to help Edward desensitize.

From the joy of Bella's birth, to the sadness of the family break-up. That's fairly heavy stuff. I've always thought how selfish Renee was to take Bella so far from her dad, who loved her so much. She was pretty immature and self-centered. The only good to come out of that was Bella becoming mature beyond her years. This was a good trait for a girl who was destined to fall in love with a vampire.
Author's Response: I just wish that Charlie could know that Bella would be back too...
True, with Renee being such a CHILD, it aged Bella to be reading for her OLD vampire boyfriend...
