Thank you for this exceptional story!

I fell in love with it since the first time I've read it. Every time I reread it, it's like being there with Aro and Bonizella (shivers...). You give us a fascinating setting, a compelling plot, and the opportunity to travel in a different time! You show great talent building the tension!

Congrats on this amazing story, I'm looking forward the next chapters!!!

Thank you... just a few weeks to wait.

Brava Camilla! I can't wait to read more! Somehow dark evil Aro is appealing in this type of story, though I can't wait to see how those few who have a happy ending manage it!

Author's Response:

Hi, so glad to read you again! Yes I am exploring  the dark side, and the full story will be rather dark too. I am going for real vamps here. But, for somebody there will be redemption - I can be evil just up to  point.

I need a few weeks more to start posting The Pilgrimage. Until then...

Lovely to see your writing once more... I suppose I should say, lovely to be reading again.  It's been too very long.  For me.  Life has thrown me many wrenches this year.  But enough of that.... it's so boring!

I love the premise of this story!!  And eagerly wait to see how it unfolds.  There is much to be discovered about our Italian cousinsand how they came to be.  I am eager to know the inside story with that particular Camilla twist!

Hope you are well and enjoying that sweet bambino!

So glad to hear from you! The follow up of Confession is going to be ready to post in a couple of months, or even earlier. Now finally I am writing again after a very lazy summer (I was just posting my old stories on other websites).

When this is done I have another new/old idea. I found in my country house a vampire story I have written ... 50 years ago, as a very young girl. I think it is could be used as an initial idea, but the historical part is difficult . Austria between WW1 and WW2. I will have to study a lot.

Well, anyway, tell me that things are going better, and maybe you too will start writing again (and I can scold you properly...).

Sorry - Hit the wroing link.  I Just wanted to tell you that I loked this when I read in in the contest, and I can't wait to see where you are going with it

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for writing again!

Oh, well, I can tell you exactly where I am going. Below I paste the summary of The Pilgrimage, the story I am developoing (Loosely inspired by The Canterbury Tales, but darker)  I hope to start posting it in late November or so:

It is the year 1353. Europe has been ravaged by the plague, and millions died. Now the scourge has ended and religion is flourishing. To thank God for their deliverance, or to atone for the sins of their dead loved ones, many people will go on pilgrimages, either to near or far away destinations. We will follow a number of such pilgrims, willing to worship at San Marcus’ shrine. But, things are not always what they seem. The handsome young monk leading them is very pale under his cowl, and he appears to be fasting all the time. Plus, all of them have secrets and very few are innocent. Will they find love or death at the end of the journey?

Since Confession, originally posted as an one shot, got an award, I decided to post it on Twilighted net too. (In general I post my stories first here and only afterward on ff net. This was an exception). The story of Bonizella will be the prologue of the full story.

I hope you'll read it, even if it is not a typical Twilight fic.

This is fabulous!  I can see why your character won an award.  She's rather a contemptuous creature, yet I couldn't help but become sympathetic towards her.  Excellent job building the tension, and your words flowed beautifully.

Looking forward to the Pilgrimage---a wonderful idea for a story.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for this fast validation and for the encouragement. I have to go on writing, then.
