Hmm, this has a slight Sissi-vibe to it, right? Or is it just me?
Apart from the fact that Edward really doesn't want to be a bastard prince, does *prince* Jacob have the right to just throw out his half-brother, when his father is still acting king?
But anyway, this was a very lovely one-shot and I'm happy to have read it. Thanks for writing!

That was a good story. Edward was so right that Jacob never did try to get to know her. He just saw that she was not interested in his title. I would love to see how her family reacts to her choice and whether Jacob keeps his word not to ruin her family, if you choose to reveal it. Thanks for sharing.
